The Opportunity: Finance Leader

As our Finance Leader, you’ll be a key player in shaping Recover’s future. Reporting directly to the CEO, you’ll spearhead our finance and compliance functions, working collaboratively to drive strategic initiatives, build high-performing teams, and solve complex challenges. This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on a rapidly scaling organization with a profound mission.

This is a fully remote, full-time position with competitive salary, equity, and PTO.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Management (40%): Oversee financial reporting, cash management, and budgeting processes. Serve as a strategic partner to the CEO and operations team, providing financial insights and guidance. Ensure timely billing and meticulous tracking of Accounts Receivable and Payable. Optimize cash flow and manage external bookkeeper. Maximize revenue through expert understanding of contract and billing practices. Perform regular financial reporting, including detailed unit economic analysis.
• Compliance Leadership (40%): Lead our compliance function, ensuring adherence to all relevant regulations and standards. Manage all audit responses, design and implement internal compliance programs for medical services, and lead the compliance team.
• Special Projects (20%): Support the CEO on strategic projects, scaling founder time and contributing to company-wide initiatives.

What We’re Looking For

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced finance professional with a passion for our mission. Ideal candidates will possess the following:

• Experience: 4+ years of relevant experience in finance (e.g., finance at a telehealth startup, management consulting, or accounting).
• Systems Thinking: A knack for developing and implementing efficient systems and processes.
• Organizational Skills: Exceptional organizational and planning abilities, with a proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Growth Mindset: A strong desire to learn, grow, and embrace uncertainty.
• Self-Starter: A proactive, solution-oriented approach with a passion for identifying and solving problems.
• Resourcefulness: Ability to rapidly learn new skills and find creative solutions to challenges.
