What You’ll Do
Senior Video Editor Responsibilities:
As a Senior Video Editor, you will be responsible for:
- Editing 10โ20 minute long-form YouTube videos, incorporating talking head content, B-roll, music, and subtle visual elements.
- Structuring cuts to create clear, engaging narrative arcs that keep viewers hooked from beginning to end.
- Implementing subtle effects, audio cleanup, sound design, and pacing techniques to enhance the tone and story.
- Collaborating closely with scriptwriters, producers, and brand leads to ensure alignment on story direction and feedback.
Motion Graphics Designer Responsibilities:
As a Motion Graphics Designer, you will be responsible for:
- Designing and animating clean, minimalist graphics that elevate the storytelling.
- Creating animated lower thirds, transitions, kinetic text, infographics, and UI mockups.
- Developing motion templates and systems for efficient and scalable edits.
- Integrating visuals to explain complex ideas, highlight key takeaways, and support voiceovers.
Who You Are
For Senior Video Editors:
- 3+ years of experience editing long-form YouTube or documentary-style content.
- Proficient in Premiere Pro with a keen sense of narrative and pacing.
- Comfortable editing from script or rough cut with minimal supervision.
- Bonus: Experience with light audio mixing, SFX, or thumbnail strategy.
For Motion Graphics Designers:
- 3+ years of experience creating motion graphics for video, social, or branded content.
- Proficient in After Effects (or similar tools) with a strong sense of timing and visual hierarchy.
- Bonus: Experience working in content with mystery, storytelling, or documentary tones.
