About the Role: Security Engineer

As a Security Engineer within the IBACentre, you’ll be at the forefront of designing, building, and deploying security solutions that protect our organization. You’ll work closely with both business and technology stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into practical, effective implementations. You will work independently and autonomously.

Key Responsibilities:

• Engage with business and technology stakeholders across all organizational levels.
• Translate architectural designs into tangible implementations throughout the entire Security Engineering lifecycle: design, build, test, deployment, and continuous improvement.
• Map long-term business requirements and security standards to functional engineering implementations
• Design and build security solutions.
• Apply security technology at an enterprise and solution level to meet control requirements.
• Perform Security Engineering tasks with autonomy.

What We’re Looking For:

We are seeking a candidate with a strong foundation in security engineering and a passion for continuous learning. Here’s what we’re looking for:

• 3+ years of relevant professional experience in security engineering.
• Demonstrated experience with at least two endpoint security technologies such as AV/AM, EDR, PAM, DLP etc.
• Familiarity with diverse OS platforms (Mac, Windows, Linux), endpoint types (Laptop, Mobile, Servers), and cloud workload types (containers, serverless functions, & SaaS resources).
• Proven ability to write and refine clear and concise technical documentation.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
• A cybersecurity certification is a plus!
