The Opportunity

As an Editor at Bisnow, you will be at the forefront of our editorial strategy, shaping our coverage of key markets like Houston, Dallas-Fort Worth, Chicago, and Philadelphia. You will be responsible for:

• Editorial Planning: Developing and executing day-to-day coverage plans, as well as long-term packages and special projects for Bisnow.com and our newsletters.
• Team Management: Leading and mentoring a team of full-time reporters and freelancers, fostering their professional growth.
• Content Creation: Assigning articles, line editing online content, newsletters, and morning briefs.

What We’re Looking For

We are seeking a highly motivated individual with the following qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience on an editorial team, with experience managing reporters.
• Experience in B2B reporting is highly preferred; experience in commercial real estate reporting is a major plus.
• A clear, friendly, and goal-oriented management style.
• Demonstrated storytelling skills and a commitment to accuracy.
• Experience editing and recruiting high-caliber writers and editors.
• Excellent news judgment and an eye for stories with viral potential.
• Familiarity with the CRE news landscape in Texas and Chicago.
• Extensive experience with content management systems.
• Basic SEO knowledge.

This position requires the candidate to work within the CST time zone. Office or remote options available.
