In this role, you’ll play a vital part in ensuring the quality, reliability, and usability of our software applications.

What You’ll Do:

As a Software QA Tester, you will be responsible for the entire software testing lifecycle. This includes:

• Collaborating with business analysts to understand requirements and translate them into comprehensive and reusable test plans.
• Designing and developing test cases for various testing levels, including Unit, Integration, System, and User Acceptance Testing.
• Performing rigorous manual testing to identify defects and ensure software functionality meets specifications.
• Conducting non-functional testing (Performance, Security, Usability, and Stress) and analyzing results to identify areas for improvement.
• Reporting bugs and errors to development teams, tracking defects, and troubleshooting issues.
• Contributing to a culture of quality by assisting team members and sharing your technical expertise.

What You’ll Need:

To thrive in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

• A bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in software or IT with a focus on software testing.
• Proficiency in manual test scripting, test data management, and manual test execution.
• Experience working within an agile development environment.
• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and the testing life cycle.
• Experience with mobile testing across different OS and web testing across different browsers.
• Familiarity with proxy tools like Charles and Fiddler.
• Ability to identify, record, document, and track bugs meticulously.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and adapt to a rapidly changing environment.
• Working knowledge of test management software and bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, TFS, Dev Ops).
• Native Arabic speaker

Bonus points for:

• Certifications such as Certified Tester Foundation Level (CTFL), ISTQB CTFL Agile Testing, Certified Associate in Software Quality (CASQ), Certified Associate in Software Testing (CAST), Certified Software Process Engineer (CSPE), or Certified Quantitative Software Process Engineer (CQSPE).
• Exposure to Appium, load testing, and API testing.
