The Opportunity
As Strategic Finance Lead, you will be a key partner to leadership, providing critical financial insights and guidance to support strategic decision-making. You will shape and scale all aspects of our finance function, ensuring we are well-positioned for continued growth and success. This is a full-time, remote-friendly position with a competitive salary, equity, and benefits package.

Responsibilities
- Oversee all FP&A activities, including budgeting, financial forecasting, and monthly/quarterly reporting to leadership and the board.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely and accurate payment and billing processes.
- Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including reimbursements and departmental budget tracking.
- Meet regularly with budget owners to ensure a clear understanding of their budget status.
- Collaborate with external accountants to close the monthly books and manage all tax-related matters.
- Provide strategic guidance and support to senior management on financial and operational matters, including pricing and deal support.
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Qualifications
Must-Have:
- 5+ years of experience in FP&A, strategic finance, or accounting within a fast-paced startup or high-growth environment.
- Experience in consulting, banking, or investment-related roles.
- Strong financial analysis and reporting skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Advanced proficiency in Google Sheets or Excel, including complex formulas and data modeling.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present financial insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Solid understanding of relevant accounting standards and compliance requirements (GAAP, SEC regulations, tax laws).
Nice-to-Have:
- Bachelor’s or advanced degree in finance, accounting, economics, or business administration.
- Experience managing core accounting functions such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, and monthly close processes.
- CPA, CMA, CFA, or other relevant certification.

Compensation
The estimated annual cash salary for this role is $175,000 – $225,000.
