We’re looking for a talented and pragmatic DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic Platform & Operations team. In this role, you’ll be instrumental in ensuring the reliability, performance, and security of our infrastructure, while simultaneously enabling rapid and secure deployments across multiple countries. You’ll collaborate closely with backend, frontend, and mobile engineers, along with product and operations teams, to deliver scalable infrastructure solutions that meet the unique demands of healthcare in emerging markets.

What You’ll Do

As a DevOps Engineer at Reliance Health, you will:

• Manage and optimize our AWS infrastructure, with a keen focus on cost control and resilience.
• Operate and improve our Nomad orchestration platform (transitioning from Kubernetes).
• Maintain and enhance our Octopus Deploy pipelines for CI/CD.
• Implement and uphold infrastructure-as-code best practices using Terraform/OpenTofu.
• Support deployments across various environments (development, staging, production) and countries.
• Ensure platform availability meets agreed-upon SLAs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues efficiently.
• Implement and maintain robust security best practices at the infrastructure level.
• Manage access control, secrets management, and environment segregation.
• Partner with developers to streamline deployment workflows and ensure environment consistency.
• Participate in incident resolution and root cause analysis (during business hours).
• Document processes, architecture, and operational runbooks.

What You’ll Bring to the Table

We’re looking for someone with:

• Strong experience with AWS core services (EC2, RDS, S3, IAM, VPC, etc.).
• Proven hands-on experience with container orchestration (Nomad, Kubernetes).
• A solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, ideally with Octopus Deploy.
• Experience with Terraform/OpenTofu for infrastructure-as-code.
• Familiarity with networking, load balancing, and monitoring in cloud environments.
• Strong problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills for effective cross-functional collaboration.

Bonus Points

It’s a plus if you have:

• Experience in multi-region deployments for services with country-specific configurations.
• Knowledge of telecom integrations and emerging market connectivity challenges.
• Familiarity with NodeJS, React, PHP or Java deployment environments.
• A background in healthcare or other regulated industries.
