Castrol is seeking a dynamic and experienced DC US Marketing Activation Manager to play a pivotal role in expanding our presence in the US market. This is an exceptional opportunity to contribute to a strategically important business area and shape the future of data center cooling technologies.

About the Role

As the DC US Marketing Activation Manager, you will be instrumental in developing and executing marketing and communication strategies specifically tailored for the US data center market. Your primary objective will be to drive the adoption of Castrol ON brand and its advanced liquid cooling fluid technology as the pathway to sustainable data center operations, aligned with bpโ€™s Net Zero ambitions. You’ll be responsible for developing, executing, and optimizing marketing plans to generate leads, enhance brand equity, and drive sales within the US thermal management market.

You will collaborate closely with the Global Marketing Head of Data Centre and the Castrol LT to develop and implement a robust marketing activation plan. This role also involves identifying opportunities beyond core products, focusing on new business models and value-added services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute best-in-class thermal management marketing plans in the US, adapting global offers to meet local market needs.
  • Lead the creation and implementation of the annual US marketing plan to generate qualified sales leads.
  • Utilize a strategic media mix (paid, owned, earned) to enhance brand equity and drive lead generation.
  • Continuously monitor market trends and the competitive landscape, providing valuable business insights to inform media and market planning.
  • Identify and communicate potential areas for offer development to the global marketing team, based on market needs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably with a post-graduate qualification.
  • 8+ years of experience in brand management, product marketing, and event organization within a B2B environment, with a proven track record of delivering innovative value propositions.
  • 5+ years of digital marketing experience, with strong expertise in social media marketing.
  • Proven ability to shape and articulate ideas through strong conceptual and analytical thinking.
  • Experience in developing new business and growth areas within a corporate, innovation, or start-up context.
  • A strong understanding of the data center industry and cooling value chain is highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams and functions.

Skills and Competencies

  • Experience with AI, data center, or cooling solutions preferred.
  • Proficiency in social and digital marketing.
  • Customer Relationship Management (CRM) expertise.
  • Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
  • Global project management experience and the ability to work with stakeholders in a multi-cultural environment.
  • Self-motivated, with strong execution and communication skills.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this role is $105,000 – $195,000. This role is eligible for US Benefits – Core. This role offers paid vacation depending on your years of relevant industry experience and will range from 120 โ€“ 240 hours of vacation per year for full time employees (60 – 240 hours of vacation per year for part time employees). You will also be eligible for 9 paid holidays per year and 2 personal choice holidays.
