Are you passionate about the gaming industry and thrive on turning data into actionable insights? At Zynga, a global leader in interactive entertainment and a proud label of Take-Two Interactive, we’re seeking a talented Demand Planning & Revenue Forecasting Analyst to join our dynamic Business Analytics team.

Imagine working on some of the world’s most popular games, from FarmVille™ and Words With Friends™ to Zynga Poker™ and Harry Potter: Puzzles & Spells™. As part of our team, you’ll play a crucial role in shaping the future of our games and contributing to Zynga’s continued success.

About the Role

As a Demand Planning & Revenue Forecasting Analyst, you will be instrumental in driving Zynga’s financial performance by accurately forecasting advertising and in-app purchase (IAP) revenue. This role offers a unique opportunity to collaborate cross-functionally with various teams, including FP&A, studio game teams, data analytics/engineering, consumer insights, ad monetization, and marketing.

Reporting directly to the Senior VP of Publishing, based in Los Angeles, you’ll be at the forefront of key business decisions.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and manage revenue forecasting models for Zynga’s advertising and in-app purchase (IAP) revenue.
  • Refine and improve the process for preparing monthly revenue forecasts for both new and existing mobile & social games.
  • Perform complex modeling incorporating key metrics for live service games (engagement & monetization) and ad platform partners.
  • Track performance and forecasts against plan, highlighting key risks and opportunities.
  • Create and maintain regular dashboards for senior executives.
  • Participate in product review meetings to update forecasts based on the latest game developments.
  • Analyze sales figures and provide data-driven recommendations to sales, marketing, finance, and studio teams.
  • Develop compelling arguments and cases to support new business opportunities.
  • Conduct ad-hoc analysis and create presentations for earnings releases, PR, and executive meetings.
  • Monitor and analyze Zynga’s competitors and other ad-driven companies, staying abreast of industry trends.
  • Maintain and improve reporting processes using the latest technologies and tools.
  • Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to automate and enhance existing processes.

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented individual with a passion for gaming and a strong understanding of the digital landscape.

  • Proven experience with Excel and PowerPoint is essential.
  • 8+ years of experience in demand planning or business analytics, ideally within the gaming/digital or advertising space.
  • Experience in an analytics or finance role at a tech-focused company (e.g., mobile, gaming, or web) is a plus.
  • SQL proficiency is helpful but not required.
  • A genuine passion for gaming and ad monetization strategies.
