ShipBob, a leading global supply chain and fulfillment technology platform, is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented FP&A Manager of Operations to join our collaborative Finance team. What You’ll Do as an FP&A Manager at ShipBob

As a key member of our Finance team, you’ll be instrumental in partnering with our Operations, Merchant Care, and Merchant Success teams, providing critical budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and business partner support. Your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting in-depth analysis of the P&L, communicating key performance drivers and variances to senior management.
• Preparing monthly and quarterly financial reporting presentations for investors and the board, highlighting crucial business metrics and trends.
• Developing the annual operating plan in collaboration with VPs, translating plans and targets into a comprehensive financial budget.
• Partnering with the Operations team to build bottoms-up forecasts, identifying potential risks and opportunities.
• Providing insightful analysis of key operational business metrics, developing margin and COGS analysis, and sharing findings with business partners.
• Continuously improving and automating existing financial models and processes.
• Proactively providing creative and effective solutions to business needs.
• Mentoring new coworkers and fostering a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performing work environment.

What You’ll Bring to the Table

We are looking for a passionate and driven individual with the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
• 6-8 years of experience in Commercial Finance, FP&A, investment banking, consulting, or a similar role.
• Excellent financial modeling skills and a strong understanding of financial statements.
• A strong curiosity to ask questions, understand the business, and drive change.
• (Preferred) Experience in the 3PL or a relevant industry.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in NetSuite, Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• (Preferred) Working knowledge of SQL, Power BI, and Power Query.
• A proactive, detail-oriented approach with the ability to meet deadlines.
• A passion for results, accuracy, and integrity.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.

Compensation and About ShipBob

ShipBob is committed to transparency and offers a competitive total compensation package. The target salary range for this role is $103,523 – $135,000. The full base pay range is $103,523 – $172,538. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for participation in the company’s discretionary bonus plan.
