About Your Role: Architect of Cloud Innovation
As our DevOps Engineer, you’ll be at the forefront of building and optimizing our AWS cloud infrastructure. You will be a critical player to automates and streamline our software delivery pipeline. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Spearheading Automation: Designing and implementing infrastructure provisioning and configuration management solutions on AWS, embracing Infrastructure as Code principles.
- Optimizing Performance: Fine-tuning networking configurations and proactively identifying opportunities to enhance system performance.
- Container Orchestration Expertise: Designing, implementing, and managing container orchestration solutions, primarily using ECS.
- Collaboration & Deployment: Partnering closely with development teams to refine deployment processes and ensure smooth, reliable releases.
- Security Champion: Enforcing security best practices and implementing robust measures to protect our cloud environment.
- CI/CD Master: Architecting, implementing, and maintaining sophisticated CI/CD pipelines tailored to our unique software development needs.
What You Bring to the Table:
We are looking for a talented and experienced DevOps Engineer with the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in a DevOps role, with a strong focus on AWS cloud operations.
- Deep expertise in AWS services, including EC2, S3, Lambda, IAM, and CloudFormation.
- Proven ability to build and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of containerization (Docker) and container orchestration (Kubernetes or ECS).
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Bash, Python, or similar.
- Experience with infrastructure as code tools (Terraform or CloudFormation).
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex production issues.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Familiarity with modern front-end frameworks (React, Babel, TypeScript) is a plus.
- Experience diagnosing and resolving deployment and migration issues.
- Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL) and semi-structured data tools (Athena, Redshift) is a plus.
- AWS certifications (AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are highly desirable.
