Financial Reporting Manager (Remote)
Angi is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Financial Reporting Manager to oversee our internal and external financial reporting processes. This is a remote position, offering the flexibility to work up to 40 hours per week with a competitive hourly rate between $35-$50.
What You’ll Do:
- Oversee and manage the financial reporting team’s processes.
- Manage the monthly internal reporting process, including preparing a consolidated Balance Sheet and Statement of Cash Flows.
- Lead the quarterly external financial reporting process, including the preparation and review of Quarterly SEC documents.
- Stay up-to-date with SEC rulemaking activity and collaborate with the Senior Director of Technical Accounting to assess the impact on Angi’s financial statement presentation.
- Provide training and mentorship to financial reporting accountants.
- Support internal and external audit programs by collaborating with auditors and providing timely information.
Who You Are:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance.
- Minimum of 6-8 years of public company accounting experience.
- Strong understanding of US GAAP and SEC Reporting requirements.
- Proactive in identifying process improvements and taking initiative to resolve potential issues.
- Excellent team player with the ability to foster inter-departmental cooperation.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented.
- Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects/assignments effectively.
- Articulate and confident in communicating ideas, issues, and resolutions to various audiences (e.g., executive management, staff, internal & external auditors).
- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Exceptional planning and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
