We’re a dynamic and expanding company supplying premium textile products and amenities to hotels, salons, spas, and Airbnb properties. This is a remote position operating on a Monday to Friday schedule, 7:30/8:00 AM – 4:00/4:30 PM MST (Edmonton, Alberta), with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break, totaling 40 hours per week.

The Role: Accounting & Data Analyst

In this role, you’ll have the chance to develop expertise in both detailed financial work and analytical challenges. You’ll work with modern systems and have the opportunity to shape reporting processes as our business continues to scale. You will be responsible for:

• Managing full-cycle accounts receivable and accounts payable operations
• Leading proactive collections efforts and addressing customer invoice requests
• Conducting credit assessments and approving credit limit overrides
• Performing account reconciliations through system data analysis
• Creating and distributing critical business reports using advanced Excel tools
• Generating operational reports for purchasing and management, highlighting key metrics
• Monitoring automated invoice systems to ensure effective customer communication
• Supporting strategic cash flow management through diligent accounts receivable oversight
• Providing analytical support and data-driven insights to various departments
• Collaborating cross-functionally to deliver customized reporting solutions

What We’re Looking For:

We’re seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual with the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field (required)
• 2–3 years of hands-on accounting experience
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data manipulation)
• Strong background in accounts receivable and payable operations
• Excellent analytical and communication skills
• Experience using modern accounting software (Odoo experience preferred)
• Background in wholesale, distribution, or a similar industry is a plus
• Self-starter who thrives in a remote work environment
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
