Are you passionate about empowering financial advisors and driving success for their clients? Wealth Enhancement Group is seeking a talented and driven Portfolio Consultant to join our Investment and Product groups. In this pivotal role, you’ll be a key resource, providing expert guidance and support to our advisors, helping them deliver exceptional investment solutions.
What You’ll Do: Your Impact
- Become a subject matter expert on our diverse range of investment solutions, understanding how they benefit WEG clients.
- Forge strong, collaborative relationships with Advisors, leveraging your industry knowledge and client-centric mindset.
- Provide customized support and actionable guidance to enhance Advisor practices and improve client outcomes.
- Develop and present innovative investment strategies and insights to both advisors and their clients.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to create and share insightful thought leadership on timely investment and economic trends.
- Work closely with advisor teams to provide expert guidance on WEG Investment Advisory Platform.
- Proactively consult and engage advisor teams to enhance client outcomes.
- Support and optimize investment best practices to empower clients.
- Educate advisors on investment platform and products to enhance understanding.
- Develop strategies for transitioning legacy assets to enhance platform management.
- Incorporate centralized solutions into holistic advisor guidance to streamline approach.
- Serve as an extension of advisor and growth teams to support business development by helping advisors and their clients meet long term goals.
- Create and present investment proposals for High-Net-Worth client opportunities.
- Engage with end-clients via seminars, webinars, and prospective client meetings to enhance client education.
- Create investment collateral to articulate market perspectives and centrally managed solutions.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to boost national presence through media channels to increase company reach.
- Partner with Investment Strategy Team on research and implementation of centrally managed investment solutions for advisors.
- Research and contribute towards continued development of the investment platform.
- Support business development through due diligence of target firms to enhance the client base.
What You’ll Bring: Your Expertise
We are looking for a dedicated professional with a strong understanding of the financial services industry and a passion for helping others succeed.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in the financial services industry, with a focus on investments.
- CFP, CFA, or CIMA designation is a plus.
- FINRA Series 65 license required.
- Deep knowledge of financial markets, modern portfolio theory, and asset allocation principles.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including presentation experience.
- Ability to craft compelling presentations and articles for Advisor and client consumption.
- Highly detail-oriented, organized, and adaptable to changing priorities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness to travel approximately 10% of the time.
