Your Mission: Crafting a Powerful & Integrated Platform
As the Senior Product Manager, Platform, you’ll be at the heart of our platform strategy. Your primary goal will be to ensure the platform functions as a secure, scalable and cutting-edge foundation for both internal innovation and business growth.
- Define the Vision: Own and champion the product vision and roadmap for ServiceUp’s API platform, ensuring tight alignment with the company’s overall strategic goals.
- Master Inbound Integrations: Collaborate with external partners to evaluate their API capabilities, prioritize integration opportunities, and manage the entire lifecycle of incorporating their APIs into the ServiceUp platform.
- Orchestrate Outbound Integrations: Lead the design, development, and ongoing management of ServiceUp’s APIs, guaranteeing they are robust, scalable, and impeccably documented to attract and empower external developers and partners.
- Drive Cross-functional Synergy: Serve as the go-to expert for all API-related matters, working hand-in-hand with engineering, design, marketing, sales, and operations teams to launch impactful cross-functional initiatives and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Cultivate a Thriving Ecosystem: Nurture and grow a vibrant partner ecosystem. This involves defining features that accelerate partner onboarding, ensuring a frictionless developer experience, and providing technical guidance for all API-related inquiries.
What You’ll Bring to the Table
We’re looking for a talented individual with a blend of technical expertise, product vision, and exceptional communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of experience in product management or a related technical role, with at least 3 years dedicated to APIs, platforms, or partner ecosystems.
- A demonstrated history of successfully delivering complex products in an agile environment, from initial concept to successful launch.
- Exceptional analytical skills and the ability to articulate technical concepts into clear business value for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- A deep understanding of API architecture, SaaS platforms, and partner integration workflows.
- Outstanding collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and foster alignment across diverse teams.
Bonus Points
- Experience in a high-growth, entrepreneurial environment.
- Background in developer tools or coding.
- Familiarity with major API management platforms like MuleSoft, Apigee, or Postman.
