We are seeking a dedicated HR Specialist to join our team and play a vital role in supporting our employees in the LATAM region. In this role, you’ll be the go-to person for employee inquiries, ensure compliance with local regulations, and contribute to a positive and engaging work environment.
What You’ll Do:
- Be an Employee Advocate: Address employee questions and concerns related to HR policies, payroll, benefits, and compliance, resolving grievances with empathy and efficiency.
- Masterfully Manage Onboarding: Orchestrate a seamless onboarding experience for new hires, from pre-boarding activities to facilitating engaging orientation sessions and tracking their progress.
- Cultivate Employee Engagement: Develop and implement creative employee engagement activities, conduct regular check-ins, and mediate employee disputes to foster a positive and productive work environment.
- Empower Through Training: Assess training needs for new employees, develop engaging training materials (manuals, presentations, e-learning), and evaluate training effectiveness to ensure continuous learning opportunities.
- Ensure Accurate Payroll and Benefits: Process payroll accurately and timely, manage employee benefits (health insurance, leave policies, retirement plans), and resolve any payroll discrepancies with precision.
- Champion Compliance: Stay up-to-date on local labor laws and employment regulations in the LATAM region, update HR policies accordingly, and conduct compliance training programs.
- Harness HR Analytics: Collect and analyze HR metrics to identify trends, prepare insightful reports and dashboards for leadership, and use data-driven insights to improve HR processes.
- Uphold HR Data Integrity: Perform regular audits of HR records to ensure accuracy and completeness, identifying trends and implementing corrective actions for process improvement.
- Craft Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs): Develop clear and concise SOPs for all HR functions, ensuring they are regularly updated and that HR staff are trained on their adherence.
- Drive Process Improvement: Identify gaps in existing HR processes, recommend and implement improvements, and automate repetitive tasks using technology solutions.
What You’ll Need:
- Proficiency in HR Management Systems (HRMS) and HR analytics tools.
- Solid knowledge of payroll and benefits administration platforms.
- Deep understanding of employment laws and compliance requirements in the LATAM region.
- Strong data analysis and reporting skills using Excel or similar tools.
- Expertise in process documentation and SOP creation.
- Experience with audit and compliance tracking.
- Project management capabilities for process improvement initiatives.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proven conflict resolution and negotiation abilities.
- Demonstrated empathy and active listening skills.
