The Opportunity: Architect, Develop, and Deploy Healthcare Solutions

As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you will play a critical role in architecting, developing, and deploying innovative solutions for our healthcare platform. You’ll work remotely with significant autonomy, collaborating closely with your Agile Scrum team and cross-functional partners. Your expertise will be instrumental in driving best practices across both our frontend and backend development, with a particular emphasis on our Angular frontend.

What You’ll Do: Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with your Scrum team on program increment and sprint planning, offering technical insights and estimations.
  • Translate user stories and product requirements into well-defined technical designs and implementations.
  • Develop high-quality, performant, and maintainable code with comprehensive testing.
  • Provide technical leadership through design discussions, code reviews, and mentorship.
  • Actively participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes.
  • Work both independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions.
  • Mentor and support the technical growth of other engineers.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, including occasional on-call rotation.

What You’ll Bring: Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of professional software development experience.
  • Proficiency in software development concepts. Experience can be in any language, however must be willing to learn Go and Typescript.
  • Strong knowledge of web technologies, including semantic HTML, advanced CSS (e.g., SASS, Less, CSS-in-JS), and TypeScript/JavaScript.
  • Proven experience delivering user interfaces using a modern JavaScript framework (Angular strongly preferred).
  • Solid understanding of software engineering principles, including data structures, algorithms, design patterns, and testing paradigms.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively, provide technical guidance, mentor junior engineers, and foster knowledge sharing.
  • Expertise in software engineering best practices and familiarity with tools like Git/GitHub, code review processes, static analysis tools (e.g., ESLint, SonarQube), and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum) and CI/CD principles.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Excellent written and verbal technical communication skills.
  • Successful completion of in-person IAL3 compliant identity proofing will be required.
  • Willingness to travel for occasional customer or onsite company meetings (approximately 1-2 times per year).
  • Ability to work remotely within the continental USA from an Eastern or Central time zone (excluding New York).
  • Must be a US citizen or permanent resident.

Bonus Points: Desired Qualifications

  • In-depth knowledge and practical experience with the Angular framework.
  • Experience with front-end state management solutions, such as NGXS (preferred).
  • Strong understanding of Web Services, including RESTful API design, integration, and consumption.
  • Experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS.
  • Familiarity with the Go programming language.
  • Knowledge of relational databases whether PostgreSQL or other.
