Performance Enablement Director: Drive Operational Excellence

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Performance Enablement Director to play a pivotal role in driving operational performance and value capture across our manufacturing plants. You will be at the heart of our supply chain, partnering with farmers and customers to source, make, and deliver essential products.

In this critical role, you will plan, coordinate, and execute the strategic implementation and maturity of our production excellence processes. This includes managing continuous improvement portfolio initiatives and management systems, all with a laser focus on boosting operational performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the deployment of production excellence processes within facilities, ensuring successful and sustained implementation, and driving improvements in key metrics.
  • Maintain strong business relationships to foster continuous process improvement and ensure consistent process standards across the organization. Leverage data and analytics to enhance operational intelligence and drive sustainable production efficiency.
  • Execute operational and strategic plans across assigned plants, leading the deployment of value capture, portfolio management, and continuous improvement tools.
  • Prioritize and support the implementation of leading practices, ensuring proper adoption and driving process confirmation efforts. Communicate objectives, performance measures, issues, and risks effectively, aligning leading practice implementation to achieve mature value creation processes.
  • Establish, implement, and assess program effectiveness and overall business impact. Track performance against established goals and promote the long-term sustainability of process improvement methodologies. Assist key leaders in interpreting data and metrics to drive informed decision-making.
  • Prepare, administer, and control the implementation of smart manufacturing and digital solutions in the production space. Collaborate with essential stakeholders to ensure alignment of tools and processes.
  • Foster a culture that prioritizes operational soundness, safety, and efficiency in plant design, construction, operation, and maintenance. Champion leading operational practices and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity.
  • Develop plans and deliver results in a fast-paced and evolving business environment. Lead and develop a team of experienced professionals and supervisors, providing coaching and making critical decisions related to talent management, hiring, performance, and disciplinary actions. Collaborate with managers and supervisors to ensure staff selections align with current and future needs.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of six years of related work experience in operational excellence.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Black Belt certification.
  • Deep knowledge of Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Expertise in project portfolio and governance, from identifying and aligning value drivers to governing a portfolio.
  • Proficiency with spreadsheet and database applications and modeling tools.
  • Experience with management system and technical gap assessments and solution identification.
  • Three years of supervisory experience.
