What You’ll Do

As a Compliance Manager, you’ll play a critical role in providing expert guidance and support to our business, ensuring we meet all relevant regulatory requirements. You’ll be responsible for:

• Building Strong Relationships: Cultivating effective working relationships with colleagues across Risk & Compliance and the broader business, acting as a trusted compliance advisor.
• Providing Expert Advice: Offering accurate and timely regulatory advice on a wide range of 1LOD queries, activities, and strategic projects, drawing on your deep technical compliance knowledge.
• Ensuring Compliance: Providing compliance approval for process changes, platform developments, and new business initiatives, ensuring alignment with FCA and PRA regulations.
• Identifying and Mitigating Risks: Identifying weaknesses or inefficiencies in operational processes and providing considered advice on how to improve them. Assisting the business in designing and assessing controls to mitigate identified risks.
• Supporting Outsourcing Arrangements: Providing regulatory support to our FNZ material outsourced arrangement.
• Contributing to a Strong Compliance Culture: Promoting the development of a strong risk and compliance culture across the group, actively participating in incident/risk event meetings, and helping to design and assess controls to mitigate identified risks.

What You’ll Bring

We are looking for a highly motivated and results-oriented individual with:

• Proven experience in a compliance role, preferably within the financial services industry.
• A strong understanding of FCA and PRA regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels.
• A proactive and solution-oriented approach, with a strong ability to problem-solve.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• A team-oriented mindset, with a willingness to support colleagues and contribute to the overall success of the team.
• A flexible and adaptable approach, with a passion for learning and developing new skills.
