Your Mission: Fueling Client Success Through Data & Strategic Insights
As an Amazon Business Analyst, you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting our clients’ growth by leveraging your analytical skills and Amazon expertise. You’ll divide your time between directly managing Amazon accounts and delivering impactful, data-driven insights that drive tangible results.
Responsibilities will include:
- Data & Financial Analysis: Crafting and maintaining advanced Google Sheets templates and dashboards to provide comprehensive client reporting. You will be using Google Sheets extensively.
- Metric Mastery: Analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs) such as revenue, units sold, Conversion Rate (CVR), Return on Ad Spend (ROAS), Average Selling Price (ASP), and Cost per Acquisition (CPA).
- Financial Forecasting: Performing budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis (Budget vs. Actuals) to guide strategic decision-making.
- Automation Expert: Streamlining recurring tasks through Google Sheets scripts or advanced formulas (e.g., VLOOKUP, INDEX MATCH, SUMIFS, FILTER, Pivot Tables).
- Insight Delivery: Presenting weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports with actionable insights to optimize client performance and maximize ROI.
- Amazon Account Management: Planning and executing promotional calendars, including strategic campaigns for major sales events like Black Friday and Prime Day.
- Listing Optimization: Optimizing Amazon product listings for enhanced discoverability and conversion, ensuring high Item Data Quality (IDQ).
- Catalog & Inventory Management: Updating product catalogs and supporting ongoing eCommerce tasks like inventory management and catalog optimization.
- Sales Forecasting: Developing 12-month sales and inventory forecasts to guide clients’ growth strategies and ensure optimal stock levels.
What You’ll Bring to the Table
We’re looking for someone who embodies the following:
- Analytical Expertise: A deep understanding of Google Sheets/Excel formulas and tools for data analysis and reporting.
- Data-Driven Mindset: A passion for leveraging data to make informed decisions and optimize performance.
- Financial Acumen: Experience with forecasting, budgeting, creating financial models, and reporting forecast vs actuals.
- Amazon Savvy: Experience with Amazon Seller Central or Vendor Central is a definite plus (but don’t worry, we provide comprehensive training!).
- Self-Starter Mentality: Proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of meeting deadlines independently in a fast-paced environment.
