What You’ll Do: Key Responsibilities

As a Language Data Annotator focusing on English, your primary mission will be to analyze and structure linguistic data used to train and improve AI models. Your work ensures the AI understands and processes language accurately. While no prior experience in data annotation is required – we provide comprehensive training – here’s a look at the types of tasks you’ll handle:

• Carefully analyzing and reviewing linguistic data in English.
• Precisely classifying and labeling data according to project guidelines.
• Identifying and reporting potential issues or inconsistencies within the datasets.
• Contributing to project workflow and processes, including support for data sourcing and testing phases.
• Maintaining high standards of quality and meeting daily productivity targets (KPIs).
• Handling diverse tasks as assigned by the project manager.

What You’ll Bring: Skills & Requirements

We’re looking for individuals who are meticulous, adaptable, and possess a strong command of the English language. If you meet the following criteria, we encourage you to apply:

• Exceptional command of the English language, demonstrating idiomatic fluency.
• Excellent listening comprehension and strong spelling/writing skills in English.
• Solid reading comprehension and the ability to understand complex guidelines written in English.
• A keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Ability to maintain focus and meet daily quality and productivity standards.
• Flexibility and adaptability to quickly respond to changing priorities.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to track and report issues effectively.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
• You must be currently located in British Columbia.
• You must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
• You must be of legal age (18+).
• Minimum educational background of a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Reliable access to a personal computer and a headset suitable for remote work duties.

Work Environment & Logistics

• Work Location: Remote, based within British Columbia.
• Work Schedule: Full-time (40 hours per week), Monday to Friday, during standard business hours.
• Engagement Model: Employment, offered as a fixed-term/temporary contract.
• Start Date: Immediate.
