Experienced Retail Fit-Out Draftsperson / Architectural Designer (Remote)

If you have deep experience in retail fit-outs and rollout projects and are comfortable working remotely, this challenging opportunity awaits.

We’re seeking a detail-oriented and technically sound professional who thrives on independence and collaboration within a remote setup. You’ll be instrumental in delivering scalable retail solutions for exciting brands.

Your Core Contributions

As a key member of our design team, you will:

• Lead the creation of comprehensive construction documentation, detailed joinery drawings, and highly accurate builder-ready plans with speed and precision.
• Produce compelling visual assets, including high-quality renders and visualizations using software like Lumion, Enscape, or equivalent tools.
• Translate diverse design concepts into precise technical outputs using AutoCAD and Revit, specializing in quick service retail, cafés, and similar commercial spaces.
• Ensure all project documentation rigorously adheres to building codes, accessibility standards, and specific retail compliance requirements.
• Maintain exceptional organization, meticulous document control, and version tracking, particularly for complex multi-site retail rollout projects.
• Communicate effectively and proactively with cross-functional remote teams across time zones, providing clear progress updates.
• Demonstrate agility in responding to feedback and adapting to evolving project priorities while consistently maintaining high-quality standards under pressure.

Skills & Experience You’ll Need

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

• A minimum of 3 years of dedicated drafting or architectural design experience focused *specifically* on retail environments (experience must be non-residential).
• Advanced proficiency in industry-standard software, including AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and leading rendering tools (Lumion, Enscape, etc.).
• A strong, proven understanding of retail-specific building codes, accessibility requirements, and general compliance standards.
• A demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality, accurate work efficiently, especially under tight deadlines and fast turnaround times.
• Highly organized, self-motivated, and comfortable working effectively and independently within a remote team structure.

• Direct experience contributing to large-scale multi-site rollout projects.
• Familiarity with advanced document control systems and managing complex stakeholder inputs across multiple design revisions.
