We are seeking a dedicated and skilled professional to champion the client’s organic search strategy. This role is pivotal in enhancing their digital footprint, increasing organic traffic, and securing top search engine rankings across their portfolio of 9+ locations.

About the Role

As our Remote SEO Specialist, you will be at the forefront of executing comprehensive SEO initiatives. You will be instrumental in optimizing the client’s web properties, translating strategic vision into technical execution, and ensuring their online presence effectively reaches and engages their target audience in a competitive market.

What You’ll Be Doing

Your responsibilities will span a range of critical SEO functions, including:

• Leading optimization efforts to significantly improve search engine rankings and boost organic traffic.
• Developing and implementing strategic SEO campaigns specifically tailored to support the unique organic search needs of 9+ locations across Southern California.
• Continuously monitoring and reporting on keyword rankings and overall website performance.
• Collaborating closely with the marketing department to align SEO strategy with broader marketing goals.
• Executing hands-on technical SEO tasks and site optimizations.
• Managing or overseeing the creation and optimization of high-quality content.
• Staying ahead of the curve on the latest SEO industry trends and algorithm changes.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a robust skillset and a proven track record:

• Proven experience as an SEO Specialist or in a similar dedicated SEO role for at least 3 years.
• A strong background in a remote work setup, understanding the nuances of working independently as an Independent Contractor similar to freelancing.
• Proficiency in E-commerce SEO strategies.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
• Solid understanding of website fundamentals, including CSS, metadata, and content management systems (CMS).
• Deep knowledge of how search engines work, their ranking factors, and a commitment to staying updated on the latest developments.
• Familiarity with conversion optimization techniques.
• Experience with Search Engine Marketing (SEM) is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving capabilities and strong communication skills (both written and verbal).
• Advanced analytics skills, including experience with:
  • Web analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics).
  • Dashboarding tools (e.g., Looker Studio, Tableau).
  • Data manipulation (e.g., Excel, basic SQL).
  • Key SEO platforms and tools (e.g., Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Google Search Console).
• Ability to conduct thorough research and data-driven analysis to identify and implement SEO improvements.
• Familiarity with using Google Search Console for monitoring website health and performance.
• Experience leveraging social media management for SEO benefits is beneficial.
• A reliable high-speed internet connection and a power backup system are essential for this remote role.

Work Details & Compensation

• Salary: $1400 per month
