About the Opportunity: Driving HR Innovation
This is more than just a system administration role; it’s a chance to be a key architect of our People operations. As our HR Systems Analyst, you will be instrumental in optimizing and scaling our technology ecosystem, with a primary focus on our Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) platform. You’ll analyze current processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and translate those into effective, high-impact system configurations. What You Will Do:
- Serve as the primary subject matter expert and go-to resource for Workday HCM, providing expert support across business processes, integrations, reporting, dashboards, and system enhancements.
- Lead the full lifecycle of Workday configuration updates, new module implementations, and integrations – from design and testing through to deployment – aligning systems with evolving business needs.
- Partner closely with cross-functional teams, including HR, Payroll, Benefits, Finance, IT, and Talent Acquisition, to understand requirements, deliver tailored solutions, and ensure exceptional service.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define and prioritize system enhancements that align with MoonPay’s people technology roadmap and strategic goals.
- Actively participate in Workday bi-annual releases, managing testing, documentation, and the successful deployment of new features and functionality.
- Execute data uploads and mass changes using tools like EIBs, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, completeness, and security across all processes.
- Analyze system performance and inefficiencies, recommend best practices, and implement process improvements that drive operational excellence and scalability.
- Provide crucial system support for key People programs, including performance cycles, compensation reviews, and talent calibration, through configuration, data analysis, reporting, and troubleshooting.
- Ensure all Workday solutions are meticulously documented, inherently scalable, and aligned with business processes and compliance standards.
- Stay ahead of the curve by continuously researching Workday product updates, industry trends, and emerging HR technology to grow expertise and optimize system performance.
- Facilitate smooth and efficient onboarding and offboarding processes by ensuring system readiness, data accuracy, and workflow optimization for new hires and departing employees.
- Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and automate tasks across People Operations, maximizing efficiency and productivity.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive internal knowledge base articles and resources to empower employees with self-service capabilities.
What You’ll Be Working On:
You’ll collaborate directly with our HR Systems Lead and People Operations Manager, focusing on the rollout and continuous improvement of our Workday platform. This involves configuring and enhancing core system architecture elements such as Compensation Plans, Benchmarking, and Competencies. You’ll provide essential support to the People Operations team, diving in hands-on whenever needed to solve problems and implement solutions.
What You’ll Bring:
- Proven experience (3+ years) with Workday configuration, demonstrating expertise across multiple modules, including Core HCM. Experience managing major employee lifecycle events within Workday is highly desirable.
- Practical experience troubleshooting system integrations to downstream platforms.
- Solid understanding of Workday best practices and designing for long-term scalability.
- Familiarity with core People Operations processes (onboarding, offboarding, data management, contract management, etc.).
- A self-motivated, positive attitude, and a collaborative team-player mindset.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, HR, IT, or equivalent practical experience.
