The Opportunity: Your Role in Shaping Our Story

As our PR & Events Intern, you will play a vital supporting role to the PR & Event Manager. This internship offers a rich, multi-faceted experience where you’ll learn by doing, contribute meaningfully, and gain broad exposure across communications, PR, and event execution. You’ll be instrumental in ensuring our message reaches the right audiences and our events run smoothly, enhancing Keyrock’s visibility and reputation in the digital asset world.

Key Responsibilities

Your day-to-day could involve a variety of exciting tasks, including:

Cultivating Connections: Assist in building, updating, and managing our essential media and journalist database.

Supporting Outreach: Lend a hand with strategic PR outreach, which includes drafting pitch emails, tracking responses, and coordinating interviews with key stakeholders.

Researching Opportunities: Proactively research and monitor the landscape for relevant marketing opportunities, such as prestigious awards, speaking slots at industry events (both online and offline), and valuable media coverage possibilities.

Event Support: Help with the design of engaging visual assets for both in-person and virtual events, and provide crucial support for event communications and other logistical tasks to ensure successful execution.

Administrative Excellence: Handle essential administrative duties, including tracking budgets, timelines, contracts, invoices, and facilitating post-event wrap-ups and reporting.

Social Media Contribution: Support the management and growth of our social media presence through content scheduling, monitoring engagement, and compiling performance reports.

Who We’re Looking For

We seek a bright, organized, and enthusiastic communicator who is eager to learn and contribute across various tasks. The ideal candidate will possess:

Current enrollment in or recent graduation from a program in Public Relations, Marketing, Communications, or a similar field.

Strong written and visual communication skills.

Familiarity with basic design tools to support event promotion and branding is a plus.

A highly organized, detail-oriented, and genuinely proactive attitude.

A demonstrable, genuine interest in the digital asset space is a strong advantage.
