DataForce by TransPerfect is seeking skilled individuals to join an innovative Artificial Intelligence project as Independent Contractors / Freelance Screenshot Collectors.

The Role: What You’ll Be Doing

As a Screenshot Collector, you will play a vital role in gathering high-quality visual data essential for training and improving AI models. Your primary responsibility will involve capturing screenshots of publicly accessible websites and applications on specified Apple devices, following precise guidelines to ensure the data meets project requirements.

Your Key Responsibilities

Capture screenshots of publicly available content from designated websites and mobile applications using the default screenshot function on your Apple device (iPhone, MacBook, or iPad).

Ensure screenshots prominently feature Chinese language content (Simplified and/or Traditional) and are collected under specific conditions (e.g., landscape/portrait orientation, dark/light mode) as per detailed guidelines.

Accurately annotate each captured screenshot with required metadata, including categorization, a brief description, and the source (website link or app name).

Strictly follow predefined project guidelines and quality standards to maintain consistency and accuracy across all submissions.

Manage your workflow effectively to meet established data collection targets and deadlines, working independently from your home.

What We’re Looking For

To succeed in this remote data collection role, you should possess:

Proficiency in reading Chinese (both Traditional and Simplified script are highly valued).

Access to and comfort using one or more of the following Apple devices with the specified operating systems:

An iPhone 12 or newer, running iOS 18 or later.

An iPad running iPadOS 18 or later.

A Mac computer running macOS 15.0 (Sequoia) or later.

The ability to efficiently capture screenshots using the device’s default method.

Exceptional attention to detail and the discipline to strictly adhere to complex guidelines.

Strong ability to work independently and maintain high standards of accuracy and consistency.

Solid organizational skills for managing multiple tasks and associated data effectively.

Previous experience in online data collection or annotation is a plus!

Project Specifics

Engagement Model: Independent Contractor / Freelance

Work Location: Fully Remote / Work-from-Home, within the United States

Estimated Start Date: June 2025

Estimated Project Duration: Approximately 6 weeks

Compensation: $0.50 USD per accepted screenshot

Target Throughput: Aiming for approximately 30 accepted screenshots per hour, based on complexity and adherence to guidelines.

Preferred Availability: A commitment of at least 10 hours per week is preferred to contribute effectively to project goals.

Required Languages: Proficiency in Chinese (Simplified and/or Traditional) and English communication skills.
