Your Role: What You’ll Do

As an Expert Apple & iPhone Writer on our remote, freelance team, you’ll dive deep into the world of Apple, crafting informative news pieces and insightful features specifically for the everyday consumer. You’ll be at the forefront of covering the latest releases, software updates, feature changes, and important developments within the Apple ecosystem.

This role demands consistent contributions and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You’ll need to stay constantly updated on the newest products and news, translating technical details into clear, compelling articles that resonate with our broad readership.

Key responsibilities include: Contributing reliable content (both news and features) under tight deadlines, inputting and formatting your work directly into our in-house CMS (Content Management System), finding and preparing appropriate images for your articles according to our guidelines, and collaborating closely with our supportive editorial team on assignments and feedback.

What We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a deep well of Apple expertise and a natural talent for explaining technology in a clear, engaging way. We need writers who can not only report the facts but also think critically about how news and updates impact the average user.

Essential qualifications include:

Relevant writing and editing experience in English, ideally within the technology space. You should have a proven ability to produce high-quality, polished content.

Expert knowledge using iOS devices, especially the iPhone. You should be highly confident navigating system settings, exploring native and third-party apps, and understanding core features inside and out.

The ability to think analytically about news and product announcements, providing valuable context and assessment for consumers.

A genuine passion for covering Apple news and features specifically, coupled with the reliability to meet deadlines consistently.

While this position is listed as Entry Level, we are seeking individuals who already possess a strong foundation in technical writing and a high degree of Apple expertise. We’re looking for talent that can hit the ground running and grow with our publication.
