The Opportunity: Lead Operations at a High-Growth Entertainment Platform

Filmhub is entering an exciting phase of rapid expansion, and we’re seeking a visionary and highly capable Head of Operations. This is a critical leadership role, reporting directly to the CEO, serving as our operational engine’s chief architect. You will take the helm of the teams that drive our execution across the business, ensuring we scale effectively while maintaining our mission-driven focus.

This is a COO-level leadership position for an individual who thrives on complexity, operational precision, and building sustainable systems. You’ll drive structured, high-quality outcomes in our remote-first environment designed for deep work, thoughtful communication, and radical transparency.

Key Responsibilities & Strategic Focus Areas

As Head of Operations, your impact will be felt across every facet of Filmhub’s growth and efficiency. You will be responsible for navigating key strategic challenges, including:

  • Establishing and scaling standards for operational excellence across a rapidly growing organization without sacrificing speed.
  • Optimizing team structures and resource allocation to ensure alignment with strategic goals and efficient execution.
  • Analyzing and refining market segment focus to sustain our strong growth trajectory amongst diverse rights holders and contract types.
  • Building robust Sales Operations and Business Operations infrastructure to support the expansion of our sales team from 10 to 25+ members and accelerate revenue growth over the next two years.
  • Developing and implementing strategies to maintain and enhance our unique culture of transparency, openness, and deep work as we double our team size from 50 to 100+.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Serve as a vital strategic partner to the CEO, co-leading key initiatives and shaping the company’s direction.
  • Design, build, and optimize scalable Sales Operations and Business Operations functions and tooling to support rapid growth and revenue acceleration.
  • Lead our strategic planning processes (Bi-Monthly & Annual), ensuring data-driven decision-making and company-wide alignment on priorities.
  • Directly manage and mentor leaders across our core operational teams: Channel Operations (Product Ops), Sales Ops, Biz Ops, People Operations, and Finance/Accounting.
  • Actively champion and evolve our unique remote-first culture, fostering connection, transparency, and effective asynchronous workflows through intentional rituals and initiatives.
  • Develop and execute the company’s holistic hiring strategy, attracting and onboarding high-performing talent who embody ownership.
  • Embed and reinforce Filmhub’s core values, including radical transparency, open conflict, and direct feedback, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Implement systems and practices that protect focused, uninterrupted “maker time” and minimize unproductive meetings.

What You’ll Bring: Skills & Experience

To excel in this role, you should possess:

  • Minimum of 10+ years of progressive operational leadership experience, ideally including roles such as COO or Head of Operations within a high-growth startup environment.
  • Exceptional People Management and leadership skills, with a demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and inspire teams (balancing servant leadership principles with a willingness to dive into details when needed to “set the standard of excellence”).
  • Proven experience designing and implementing company-wide hiring strategies and organizational structures across diverse teams and geographies.
  • A deep understanding of systems thinking, with a knack for documenting processes, building for scale, clarity, and repeatability.
  • High operational fluency – you understand how to build efficient workflows, evaluate and manage operational tooling, and define/measure key performance indicators effectively.
