About the Role: Your Impact & Contribution
As an Associate Project Manager at DISCO, you will work closely with our experienced Project Management team to deliver exceptional service and support to clients utilizing the DISCO platform for their eDiscovery and investigation needs. You’ll be a frontline hero, managing direct client inquiries, providing valuable product guidance, and ensuring successful project execution.
What You’ll Do Day-to-Day
Driving Client Success & Service Delivery
Be a vital link between our clients and DISCO. Collaborate seamlessly with fellow Project Managers and cross-functional teams (like Forensics, Data Operations, and Client Success) to address challenges and ensure our clients achieve their goals using DISCO.
Project Management & Execution
Take ownership of tasks directed by Project Managers, ensuring billable work is completed accurately and on time. Maintain meticulous project and data tracking, communicate progress and milestones effectively with Project Managers and clients, keeping projects on track from start to finish.
Become a DISCO Platform Expert
Develop advanced, in-depth knowledge of the DISCO platform‘s capabilities. Advise clients on best practices for crucial stages of the legal process, including early data assessment, document review workflows, production preparation, and leveraging DISCO for depositions and trial. Your insights will also help shape the future of our product by providing valuable feedback and feature requests to our Product and Engineering teams.
Building Strong Client Relationships
Cultivate rapport and foster open communication with clients. You’ll be their trusted point of contact for questions about DISCO usage, status updates, and core platform functionality. Represent DISCO enthusiastically at client engagements and events.
Empowering Users Through Training
Share your knowledge by delivering engaging and effective product training sessions to legal professionals, including attorneys, paralegals, and litigation support specialists, helping them maximize their use of the DISCO platform.
Who You Are: The Skills & Experience You Bring
You are a motivated, client-focused professional with a foundation in eDiscovery and a passion for technology. Specifically, you have:
- Proven Experience: 1+ years of hands-on eDiscovery project management experience gained at a law firm, in-house legal department, or legal service provider.
- Platform Familiarity: 1+ years of working knowledge with at least one industry-standard eDiscovery platform (such as DISCO, Relativity, Recommind, or Concordance).
- Organizational Prowess: Successfully able to manage and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Problem Solver: Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, able to troubleshoot and find effective solutions.
- Service Mindset: Deeply committed to providing excellent customer service and support.
- Team Player & Independent Contributor: Comfortable working autonomously while also collaborating effectively as part of a broader team.
Ideally, You Might Also Have… (Bonus Points!)
- Experience providing consultative solutions within the eDiscovery space, perhaps from a consulting firm background.
- Experience working for a litigation support group or collaborating closely with lit support teams in previous roles.
- Familiarity with data collection and processing software or workflows.
