The Opportunity: Shape Experiences That Matter

Senior Product Designer

Step into a pivotal role as our Senior Product Designer. You will be instrumental in translating complex needs into simple, delightful customer experiences that impact millions. Collaborating closely with our Product and Engineering teams, you won’t just design; you’ll influence the product strategy, champion the user, and drive meaningful business outcomes. This role is for a designer ready to take ownership, enhance our product development lifecycle, and significantly contribute to key performance indicators. You’ll report directly to the Director of Product Design.

What You’ll Do: Bring Vision to Life

In this role, you will:

Champion the customer voice by rigorously validating ideas and solutions through direct user interaction.

Design and build simple, intuitive product experiences that address deep customer pains and needs.

Help shape and drive the product roadmap using actionable customer insights and a cohesive strategic vision.

Partner effectively with Product Management and Engineering teams from initial concept through successful launch and subsequent iterations.

Own the end-to-end design process across multiple features and projects, including crafting interaction flows, building prototypes, and delivering high-fidelity designs.

Contribute to and maintain a consistent, cohesive visual language across all Skylight products.

Collaborate closely with the engineering team during implementation, adapting scope as needed to ensure timely delivery.

What You’ll Bring: Skills & Experience

Minimum Requirements:

You have a proven track record with at least 5+ years of experience in end-to-end consumer-facing product design, with a strong emphasis on mobile-first experiences.

Your portfolio showcases a breadth of both UX and UI design skills, clearly demonstrating your process and a quantifiable impact on business metrics.

You approach your work with humility, are a highly collaborative team player, and embody a service-oriented mindset.

You are scrappy, possess a strong growth mindset, thrive on high-velocity output, and have a clear bias for action.

You are passionate about our mission of connecting people and facilitating meaningful relationships through the products you design.

You have a demonstrated history of leveraging user research and data to inform and validate your design decisions, evident in your portfolio.

Bonus Points for Experience With:

Taking 0-1 products from initial concept all the way to successful launch.

Consumer-facing applications, particularly those with a subscription-based model.

Designing software experiences that seamlessly integrate with hardware components.

General e-commerce design.

Demonstrated leadership in influencing product direction and strategic thinking.

For Colorado-based candidates, the annual salary range is $140K – $160K, based on experience.

For California-based candidates, the annual salary range is $140K – $160K, based on experience.
