Step into a crucial role as a Mid-level Data Quality Assurance Specialist within our dynamic teams focused on emerging AI-powered initiatives. You will be instrumental in safeguarding the integrity and quality of the data that fuels our innovation. By enhancing our data pipelines and validating key information streams, you will directly contribute to achieving data excellence, empowering us to deliver transformative solutions. This collaborative position involves working closely with experts across disciplines to rigorously validate and normalize structured data, upholding the high standards required for our advanced AI applications.

Key Responsibilities

As a core member of our data team, you will:

• Analyze Technical Documentation: Carefully review and interpret detailed technical specifications, including complex OEM sensor data sheets, system event logs, and configuration threshold settings.
• Process Structured Data: Execute precise extraction, cleaning, and standardization of structured data from diverse formats like CSV, XML, JSON, and Excel.
• Implement Data Validation: Establish and perform thorough validation checks on incoming data for consistency, completeness, and accuracy *prior* to its ingestion into our systems.
• Collaborate on Data Pipelines: Work alongside protocol owners and software developers to continuously improve data pipelines and refine integration logic for optimal performance and quality.
• Automate QA Tasks: Develop and maintain effective scripts using Python or Bash to automate repetitive data validation, transformation, and verification processes, increasing efficiency and reliability.

Skills & Qualifications We’re Looking For

Essential Capabilities:

You must possess a highly developed attention to detail, as accuracy is paramount in this role.
Strong practical experience working with common structured data formats including Excel, CSV, XML, and JSON is required.
Demonstrated scripting proficiency in either Python or Bash is necessary for automating data manipulation and parsing tasks.
The ability to effectively read and interpret detailed technical documentation is crucial.
A solid understanding of software and data configuration and transformation workflows is expected.

Valued Assets (Nice-to-Have):

Familiarity with industrial equipment protocols (such as CAN, J1939) or experience handling telemetry data is a plus.
Exposure to DevOps or CI/CD environments would be beneficial.
Possession of relevant QA certifications (e.g., ISTQB) is a bonus.
Previous experience working with OEM documentation or data originating from embedded systems is highly valued.
