The Opportunity: Drive Global Talent Strategy Through Data & Insights

Ready to be at the forefront of Talent innovation? We’re looking for a talented individual to join our Global Talent Delivery Team. This team is the backbone of our talent solutions, driving alignment, process improvement through digital enablement, and delivering critical management information and predictive insights.

As part of the Talent Insights and Analytics Team, specifically within Data & Insights, you will play a pivotal role. You’ll be instrumental in building key relationships and delivering high-impact reporting and analytics services that empower Talent teams across our global organization.

What You’ll Do: Delivering Impact Through Talent Analytics

In this dynamic role, you will:

  • Partner closely with Talent Insights and Analytics colleagues (Business Consulting, Analytics & Workforce Planning) to scale and enhance our reporting capabilities.
  • Contribute to the delivery of advanced and predictive reporting techniques, translating complex data into robust analyses and actionable insights for Talent leadership.
  • Ensure consistent, high-quality delivery of various report types, including compliance, strategic, ad-hoc, technical, and cross-functional requests, with a focus on SuccessFactors (SF) report development.
  • Configure and build new reports and analysis to meet evolving operational and strategic demands.
  • Leverage deep subject matter expertise in data engineering, data visualization, and related functional areas to generate insightful analyses.
  • Manage the delivery of reporting services via both direct access methods and bespoke requests, utilizing automation techniques where possible to drive efficiency.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal IT teams, external vendors, and other Talent Delivery functions.
  • Navigate complex, ad-hoc analytics requests, applying your expertise to deliver insightful solutions.
  • Enhance managerial decision-making by providing integrated and standardized data reports and dashboards.
  • Tackle diverse technical requests, including SF configuration, reporting functionality, SQL, Power BI, advanced Excel, and data configuration, with a focus on clear data storytelling.
  • Develop expertise across the different technologies used within the Talent ecosystem, liaising with solution and process owners to ensure data availability.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to automate standard reporting processes to optimize our reporting landscape.
  • Perform thorough data analysis to ensure data quality and integrity, maintaining data systems for optimal organization and readability.
  • Support and execute the ongoing development of existing solutions by identifying needs, prioritizing efforts, and defining requirements for third-party delivery.

Analytical & Decision-Making Influence:

You will provide expert knowledge in reporting and analytics operations, optimizing functional delivery standards. You’ll support and implement decisions for assigned processes, focusing on definition, delivery, and continuous improvement. By leveraging data and information, you’ll monitor reporting performance against key metrics (like timelines and efficiency) and share market insights to influence change.

Collaborative & Leadership Aspects:

Working closely with extended teams across Talent Delivery and wider Talent Functions, you’ll support the configuration, development, testing, and implementation of technology solutions. You’ll contribute to fostering a collaborative environment, building trust and cooperation, and potentially mentor or coach others.

Global Agility:

Given the global scope of this role, flexibility in working hours and potential travel may be required. Excellent written and verbal English communication skills are essential for success.

What You Bring: Skills & Experience

We’re looking for a professional with a proven ability to deliver functional reporting solutions for business needs. You should have experience supporting reporting capabilities and their implementation across various platforms (like SAP, Oracle, SuccessFactors, or custom solutions) within a relevant industry or consulting setting.

Essential qualifications and experience include:

  • Experience working with third-party vendors or external system implementors on reporting solutions.
  • A proactive approach to anticipating potential issues and challenges, and navigating them effectively.
  • Experience conducting research and analysis (internal/external) to identify best practices and drive improvements.
  • Proven success working in a collaborative environment or providing subject matter expertise to achieve successful change outcomes.
  • Deep knowledge of the reporting and analytics operating model, organizational design, and ways of working across the Talent ecosystem.
  • Strong business acumen, understanding the Talent systems landscape, functionality, and integration needs for implementing reporting and data analytics priorities.
  • Ability to participate effectively in virtual teams and networks across diverse geographies.
  • Proactive consulting skills that drive business impact, capable of interpreting functional/technological requirements and co-creating pragmatic approaches.
  • Excellent teaming skills, collaborating effectively across the Talent ecosystem and the wider firm.
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to share thought leadership.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, managing time and resources effectively.
  • Strong research and analytical skills to track trends and identify future options for reporting and analytics solutions.
