Consumer Insights Associate: Digital Solutions (12-Month Contract) – Remote, Canada

Are you passionate about digital experiences and uncovering what truly drives customer satisfaction online? J.D. Power is seeking a driven Consumer Insights Associate to join our Digital Solutions team. This is an exciting opportunity for a 12-month limited-term contract role, offering the flexibility to work remotely from anywhere in Canada.

Reporting to the Sr. Director, Digital Solutions, you will play a vital role in analyzing survey data to generate actionable insights that directly help our clients enhance their digital channel performance and boost customer satisfaction.

Your Impact in This Role

Step into a key position where your data analysis skills and enthusiasm for digital will translate into tangible improvements for our clients. By interpreting survey data, you will provide the strategic guidance needed to optimize customer experiences within their digital channels, ultimately driving significant business results.

What You’ll Be Doing

You will be an integral part of a collaborative 7-person Digital Solutions team. We are looking for a proactive self-starter who thrives on independence and can navigate our company’s matrix environment effectively, working seamlessly with various departments and industry business units (like Auto, Financial Services, and Insurance).

Key Responsibilities

Here’s a look at the core activities you’ll be engaged in:

• Dive deep into survey data to uncover hidden trends and insights that empower clients to improve customer satisfaction and drive business outcomes.

• Support the creation of impactful reports, presentations, and content for industry conferences, focusing on clear, actionable insights.

• Conduct insightful ad-hoc analysis, potentially blending internal, client, or third-party data sources to enrich findings and add value.

• Contribute to thought leadership initiatives, sharing expertise on digital consumer behavior and industry trends.

What You Bring to the Table

We’re looking for someone with the right mix of analytical prowess and digital curiosity:

• A Bachelor’s Degree is required. A focus on behavioral sciences (Psychology, Marketing, Economics, Political Science), a quantitative emphasis (like statistics), or technology is preferred.

• Strong data analytic skills, with the ability to adeptly analyze survey data, interpret results, and translate them into clear, compelling insights.

• A genuine passion and enthusiasm for all things digital – staying curious about how technology shapes the customer journey.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, capable of articulating complex study findings in a clear, concise, and impactful manner.

• Proficiency with MS Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) is essential for data analysis, reporting, and presentation development.
