Join Our Team as a Principal Program Manager – Networking Hardware

As a Principal Program Manager at Jabil, you won’t just manage programs; you’ll orchestrate large-scale, intricate initiatives at the forefront of networking hardware design and manufacturing. This is a senior leadership position where your expertise in managing risks, resolving complex issues, and ensuring rigorous adherence to program governance will be critical to our success. You will be the driving force behind program predictability, performance, and customer satisfaction.

Your Impact & Responsibilities

In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for guiding the strategic direction and operational execution of multiple simultaneous programs. Key responsibilities include:

Strategic Leadership & Execution: Lead and guide the direction of global cross-functional delivery teams, ensuring seamless alignment and execution across all program phases.

Resource & Capacity Planning: Partner closely with Business Unit leaders to develop robust project and program resourcing strategies, ensuring optimal team support for ongoing projects and daily operations.

Risk & Impediment Management: Proactively identify program impediments, risks, and dependencies, guiding proper escalation and implementing mitigation plans to keep programs on track. Plan and schedule programs to deliver key milestones effectively.

Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Collaborate with functional leaders to review and monitor program health. Establish and implement meaningful metrics to accurately measure and report on project performance and program status.

Resource Optimization: Continuously track and optimize resource utilization across programs, ensuring accurate and transparent status reporting to stakeholders.

Process Improvement: Champion continuous process improvement by leveraging trend reporting, analysis, and metrics management to enhance program methodologies and outcomes.

Stakeholder & Customer Communication: Manage global communications regarding release plans and deliveries. Maintain regular, active, and clear communication with customers, key stakeholders, and executive leadership.

Customer Focus: Demonstrate unwavering commitment to customer service, anticipating, meeting, and exceeding expectations, and prioritizing customer issues for swift resolution.

Quality & Compliance: Ensure compliance with company security policies and procedures while upholding the highest standards of quality for program milestones and deliverables within defined requirements.

What You’ll Bring

We are looking for a seasoned professional with a strong blend of technical understanding, program management mastery, and leadership capability:

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant experience.

  • Minimum of 10+ years of progressive program management experience, managing complex, large-scale initiatives.

  • At least 5+ years specifically within networking hardware design and/or manufacturing environments.

Skills & Attributes:

  • Proven ability to lead, mentor, and inspire diverse, cross-functional teams globally.

  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and influence skills, capable of engaging effectively with all levels, including senior executives and external customers.

  • Demonstrated experience driving successful collaboration and communication directly with customers on hardware design projects.

  • Solid understanding of operational workflows and financial principles relevant to hardware development and manufacturing.

  • Strong ability to expertly manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

  • Experience thriving and leading teams in multi-site and multi-cultural global settings.

  • Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 10%.
