Your Role: Senior DevOps Engineer (Level III)
Step into a pivotal role within our Global DevOps and SRE team. As a DevOps Engineer III, you won’t just be maintaining systems; you’ll be instrumental in shaping our future. This is a key individual contributor position reporting to the DevOps Manager, where you’ll collaborate across engineering teams to champion and embed DevOps best practices. You will be a driving force in our cloud transformation journey, building the sustainable tools, procedures, and infrastructure that power efficient software development and deployment for global brands.
Key Responsibilities & Impact
- Architect and Enhance Cloud Infrastructure: Lead the design, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of our scalable, secure, and resilient AWS infrastructure. Your primary tool? Terraform, ensuring Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles are paramount.
- Build & Refine CI/CD Pipelines: Design and implement robust Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment pipelines utilizing GitHub and GitHub Actions, accelerating our delivery speed and reliability.
- Champion Cloud Security: Ensure security best practices are rigorously implemented and maintained across all layers of our cloud infrastructure.
- Drive Automation: Identify and automate repetitive tasks and processes, enhancing efficiency and reducing manual effort across the board.
- Foster Collaboration: Work closely with our global engineering teams, sharing knowledge and skills to uplift the entire organization.
- Optimize Cloud Spend: Conduct regular cost reviews of existing cloud resources and actively identify opportunities to optimize expenses and improve infrastructure footprint.
- Scale and Improve Systems: Plan and execute initiatives to upgrade and scale systems, continuously improving capacity, availability, reliability, and performance.
- Provide Operational Excellence: Offer critical operational support for all environments, including participation in a rotating On-Call schedule to ensure system stability.
Skills & Experience We’re Looking For
To thrive in this role, you’ll need a solid foundation and proven track record:
- Minimum 7-8 years of hands-on experience managing cloud infrastructure across platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure, with a strong focus on AWS.
- 5-7 years of practical expertise in container orchestration, including performance tuning and optimization, using Docker and Kubernetes in production, multi-cloud environments (EKS experience is key).
- Deep knowledge and practical application of cloud security and compliance best practices across the stack (CI/CD, Containers, VPCs, Databases, Storage, etc.).
- Proficiency in scripting and automation using languages like Bash or Python.
- Exceptional troubleshooting skills, leveraging observability tools such as DataDog, ELK (ElasticSearch, LogStash, Grafana), Prometheus, etc., to diagnose and resolve complex issues in cloud-native environments.
- Extensive experience with IaC tools (Terraform), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes/EKS), secrets management, and Git workflows (GitHub, GitHub Actions).
- A strong collaborative spirit and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.

Location & Compensation
This is a fully remote position based within the United States.
The base salary range for this role is $100,000 – $140,000 USD annually. Please note that actual compensation is determined by a variety of factors including experience level, specific skills, geographic location, and other business considerations in compliance with applicable law.
