As our Managing Editor overseeing web content for key regions like Asia and Europe, you will be at the forefront of delivering timely, insightful, and high-impact financial news. You’ll directly influence the narrative consumed by millions, shaping perspectives and driving engagement within the industry. This position demands a strategic mind with a passion for global markets and a proven ability to connect with critical audiences online, translating market events into accessible and compelling digital content.

What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities)

Lead, coach, and inspire a diverse, worldwide team of journalists and translators, ensuring timely and accurate coverage of pivotal market events including earnings, economic data, M&A, IPOs, and analyst insights.

Spearhead the development and execution of innovative content strategies and story formats designed to deeply engage target demographics and maximize digital reach.

Champion data-driven editorial decisions, effectively utilizing traffic analytics and performance metrics to refine news coverage and identify compelling feature content opportunities.

Actively cultivate and nurture relationships with key industry sources to uncover and publish exclusive commentary and unique investment insights.

Foster a highly collaborative environment, partnering with fellow Managing Editors across the globe to align strategies and amplify high-performing content.

Work closely with product, technology, and other stakeholders to guide page development and feature enhancements, continuously improving the user experience and SEO performance.

Your Essential Qualifications

Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience within digital publishing, with a significant portion preferably in the financial media landscape.

A minimum of 5 years demonstrating strong editorial leadership or senior editing capabilities.

At least 3 years successfully managing and mentoring teams of journalists.

A deep and nuanced understanding of global financial markets, economic dynamics, and relevant political landscapes.

Expert command of journalism best practices, including news writing, sophisticated story construction, adherence to AP Style, relevant media law (specifically copyright), and unwavering ethical principles.

Demonstrated ability to produce compelling content in both concise, short-form news and comprehensive, long-form feature formats.
