About the Opportunity

Are you a seasoned Azure Cloud Architect with a passion for designing and delivering transformative enterprise-scale solutions? Do you thrive on leading technical strategy and guiding customers through their complex cloud journeys? We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Principal Architect to join our dynamic Professional Services team.

In this critical role, you will serve as a Technical Leader and trusted advisor, responsible for the overall design, integrity, and successful delivery of sophisticated Azure solutions for our valued clients. You will be at the forefront of our Azure services practice, shaping methodologies, driving innovation, and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.

What You’ll Do

As the Principal Architect, your responsibilities will span strategic leadership, technical design, and customer consulting, including:

•  Lead Azure professional services engagements from discovery through delivery, owning the end-to-end solution design and technical integrity.
•  Translate complex customer business requirements into robust, secure, and operationally excellent Azure architectures, aligning with best practices.
•  Partner closely with project managers, engineers, and fellow consultants to ensure projects are executed efficiently, on time, and exceeding customer expectations.
•  Serve as a dedicated trusted advisor to large enterprise customers throughout the post-sales lifecycle, providing insightful architectural guidance and technical leadership.
•  Conduct expert workshops, assessments, and deep technical design sessions covering a broad spectrum of Azure capabilities (IaaS, PaaS, networking, identity, security, DevOps, etc.).
•  Drive technical governance and support key project milestones through comprehensive documentation and architectural reviews.
•  Proactively identify technical risks and implement effective mitigation strategies across project phases.
•  Continuously enhance our Azure delivery methodologies, templates, and best practices.
•  Facilitate knowledge transfer sessions to empower customer teams and internal staff.
•  Stay ahead of the curve by tracking Microsoft Azure innovations, roadmap updates, and service advancements.
•  Contribute significantly to the growth and evolution of our Azure services practice, developing reusable frameworks and defining engagement models.
•  Share your expertise and provide thought leadership through internal and external presentations and content.
•  Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, engineering, and delivery teams to ensure seamless project execution.
•  Identify and pursue new Azure professional services opportunities to drive revenue growth.
•  Champion and deliver a world-class customer experience in every engagement.

Who You Are

You are an accomplished Cloud Architect with deep expertise in the Microsoft Azure ecosystem, possessing the following skills and experience:

•  Proven ability to architect, implement, and optimize complex Azure structures and frameworks.
•  Extensive experience in designing, implementing, and supporting scalable multi-tier applications and cloud-native architectures.
•  Demonstrated success overseeing and directing large-scale technical projects to successful completion.
•  A strong background leading large-scale migrations, designing hybrid cloud solutions, implementing Azure Landing Zones, and driving application modernization initiatives.
•  Experience working within regulated or highly complex technical environments.
•  Familiarity with modern project delivery frameworks like ITIL, Agile, and DevOps practices.
•  Substantial experience delivering enterprise Azure solutions directly to customers in a post-sales or consulting capacity.
•  A deep and broad understanding of core Azure services and architecture patterns across compute, networking, identity, storage, containers, and automation.
•  Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (ARM, Bicep, Terraform) and building robust DevOps pipelines and CI/CD practices.
•  Strong knowledge of cloud security, governance, identity management (Entra ID), and compliance considerations in Azure.

What You Bring

Beyond your technical prowess, you meet these essential requirements:

•  A completed Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
•  The flexibility to travel occasionally as needed to meet customer and business demands.
•  Relevant Microsoft Cloud Certifications.
•  A minimum of 10 years of progressive technical experience, with a significant focus on Azure and cloud solutions.
•  Prior experience working in professional services, consulting, or systems integration delivery models.
