Job Description

CGI Coordinator

Shape Architectural Visions Through Exceptional CGI

Are you a highly skilled CGI professional with a passion for architectural visualization and a knack for empowering others? We’re seeking a proactive and technically proficient CGI Coordinator to join our team and play a vital role in maintaining and elevating the visual quality of our world-renowned architectural projects. Working closely with the Department Manager, you will be the backbone of our CGI production, ensuring consistent quality standards, streamlining workflows, managing valuable asset libraries, and fostering the technical growth of our visualization artists.

This is a hands-on opportunity perfect for someone with deep expertise in real-time rendering tools like Twinmotion and/or Lumion, robust knowledge of Revit, and comprehensive understanding of the end-to-end CGI workflow. If you are driven by technical excellence, possess strong visual literacy, and find fulfillment in mentoring others, this role is for you.

What You’ll Do: Key Responsibilities

As our CGI Coordinator, you will be instrumental in various aspects of our visual production pipeline:

Elevate Quality Standards:
Implement and rigorously apply approved CGI quality benchmarks across all active architectural projects. Conduct detailed visual reviews, document feedback systematically, and coordinate the use of model auditing and optimisation tools to ensure peak performance and visual fidelity.

Manage and Curate Assets:
Take ownership of our valuable CGI material and component libraries, ensuring they are well-maintained, updated, and easily accessible. Help curate visual references and contribute to building an inspiring “Best-of-CGI” collection that sets our internal standards.

Develop Content & Improve Systems:
Collaborate on developing project-specific visual assets. Contribute to refining and documenting our internal processes and training materials. Monitor rendering performance metrics and gather feedback to identify areas for system enhancement.

Empower the Team Through Training:
Deliver engaging, hands-on coaching sessions and practical workshops to enhance the team’s technical skills. Support our Learning Management System (LMS) and help track training outcomes. Act as a dedicated mentor for junior team members, guiding their development and celebrating milestones.

Drive Innovation Through R&D:
Explore, test, and evaluate new CGI tools and technologies. Compile comprehensive findings and contribute to developing prototypes that improve workflow efficiency and push the boundaries of our visual capabilities.

Provide Essential Technical Support:
Serve as a key point of contact for resolving Tier-2 CGI-related technical queries. Maintain and expand our internal CGI knowledge base and FAQs, empowering the team to find solutions independently.

Foster Collaboration & Project Success:
Facilitate seamless Revit to CGI workflows by collaborating closely with project teams. Participate in reviews to ensure visually impactful and compelling deliverables that effectively communicate design intent.

What You’ll Bring

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

Essential Skills & Experience:

Education: Degree or Diploma in Architecture, Visualisation, or a related CGI field.

Experience: Minimum of 3+ years of hands-on experience in CGI production, specifically within an architectural context.

Technical Mastery: Exceptional proficiency in Twinmotion and/or Lumion, coupled with a strong working knowledge of Revit.

Visual Acumen: Highly developed visual literacy, demonstrating a deep understanding of lighting, materials, and composition in rendering.

Quality Focus: Proven experience implementing, coordinating, and maintaining CGI quality standards.

Communication: Excellent communication skills – clear, concise, and effective for documentation, providing feedback, and mentoring.

Work Style: A naturally methodical, collaborative, and solutions-oriented approach to challenges.

Advantageous Experience (Nice to Have):

Familiarity with Unreal Engine (Blueprint or World Partition).

Experience with Python scripting or Datasmith integration.

Proficiency in using dashboard tools like Power BI for tracking metrics and QC reporting.

An understanding of VR workflows and performance optimisation techniques.

Why Join Our Team?

Join a globally recognised and respected architectural firm renowned for setting benchmarks in design, innovation, and visual excellence. At SAOTA, you won’t just be a coordinator; you’ll be a key player in shaping how we tell powerful visual stories, drive efficiency in our CGI pipeline, and empower a talented team of creative visualization artists. Contribute to projects that push the boundaries of architectural design and visual communication on a global stage.
