Key Responsibilities: What You Will Do

As an Accounts Payable Clerk on our team, you will be responsible for critical functions that keep our financial engine running smoothly. Your daily contributions will include:

• Managing the full cycle of Accounts Payable, including reviewing, coding, and processing a high volume of vendor invoices with precision.
• Executing accurate and timely weekly payment runs.
• Supporting month-end closing procedures, including preparing and reconciling general ledger and loan-related accounts.
• Maintaining vendor relationships and records, including setting up new vendors and obtaining necessary documentation (like W-9s).
• Proactively resolving vendor discrepancies and ensuring timely communication and follow-up internally and externally.
• Collaborating effectively with internal teams, vendors, and management to ensure seamless financial operations.
• Contributing to special projects and financial analysis as needed.

What You Will Bring: Skills & Experience

To succeed in this role, you should possess a blend of foundational accounting knowledge, practical experience, and key professional skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
• A minimum of 3+ years of experience in a dedicated Accounts Payable or similar accounting role, ideally within a high-volume environment.
• Strong analytical, numerical, and critical thinking abilities, with a solid understanding of cash flow principles.
• Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Experience with NetSuite accounting software is a plus, but not required.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate financial information clearly to various stakeholders.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
• A proactive and adaptable mindset, willing to take on new tasks and contribute to team goals.
