Product Manager, Security & Compliance

Reporting to a supportive Group Product Manager, you’ll start by taking ownership of critical workflows like device approvals and posture checks. As you grow, your scope will expand into broader areas of security and compliance. This role is designed as a launchpad, offering structured mentorship and dedicated support, making it ideal for both established PMs and talented individuals from security-focused customer-facing roles ready to step into product leadership.

What You’ll Do

As a Product Manager on the Security & Compliance team, you will:

• Drive Product Strategy: Own and define the product strategy for key security and compliance workflows, translating complex requirements into clear, actionable plans.

• Collaborate & Build: Work hand-in-hand with our talented engineering, design, and UXR teams to deliver intuitive features that simplify device management, access controls, and audit logging for our users.

• Gather Insights: Spend significant time (approx. 25%) directly engaging with customers, gathering customer feedback and insights to inform the product roadmap, supported by our Sales and Customer Success teams.

• Define & Prioritize: Write detailed product requirements, manage your feature backlog, and work closely with engineering leads to enable efficient execution across multiple teams.

• Simplify the Complex: Champion user needs by translating intricate enterprise security and compliance demands into simple, user-friendly product experiences.

What You’ll Bring

• Experience: 1-3 years in product management or a relevant customer-facing role (e.g., solutions engineering, technical design), ideally with exposure to security and compliance concepts.

• Technical Foundation: Foundational knowledge in at least one of the following: device management, posture checks, RBAC, ACLs, or audit logging. An eagerness to quickly learn the others is essential.

• Technical Curiosity: Comfortable getting hands-on with technical products, including using the command line.

• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly in crafting clear product requirements and documentation.

• Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills with a genuine enjoyment for cross-functional collaboration across engineering, design, sales, and customer teams.

• User Focus: Deep empathy for users and a commitment to designing intuitive, enjoyable experiences, even for technical features.

• Availability: Ability to overlap at least 3 working hours daily with our UK-based engineering team.

Bonus Points (Nice to Have)

• Familiarity with Zero Trust architectures, VPNs, identity providers, or related network security products.

• Exposure to infrastructure-as-code or DevSecOps tooling (e.g., GitOps, Terraform).

• Experience working with customers in regulated industries (e.g., finance, healthcare).

• Familiarity with data analytics tools (e.g., Looker, Snowflake, Grafana, SQL).

Compensation & Perks (CAD)

We believe in fair and equitable compensation. The base salary range for this role is $147,400 – $219,760 CAD, plus equity and comprehensive benefits. Individual offers are based on experience and skills.
