The Opportunity: Lead Quality in Government Technology
Your Role & Impact
As our QA Manager for the Tax & CAMA Division, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the reliability and performance of our essential government software solutions. You won’t just oversee testing; you will define the future of quality assurance for several core development teams. This is a leadership position where you will empower a team, establish robust processes, and champion the strategic adoption of automated testing technologies to elevate our quality standards.
What You’ll Be Doing: Shaping Quality, Leading Teams
Strategic Leadership & Process Definition
Define, implement, and enforce comprehensive Quality Assurance standards, policies, and best practices that resonate across multiple development teams within the Tax & CAMA division. Your leadership will set the benchmark for quality.

Lead, mentor, and inspire a dedicated team of QA Analysts, including both onshore and offshore resources. You will be responsible for effective resource allocation, fostering a culture of collaboration, growth, and continuous improvement within your team.
Driving Automation & Technical Excellence
Establish robust manual testing processes for foundational coverage while simultaneously spearheading initiatives to significantly expand test automation. You will introduce, maintain, and champion the adoption of cutting-edge tools and frameworks that boost efficiency and scalability. Collaborate closely with development teams to design, build, and maintain effective automated test suites for regression, performance, and load testing.
Test Strategy & Execution Oversight
Oversee the creation, execution, and refinement of detailed test plans, cases, and scripts across the entire software development lifecycle. Coordinate and direct various testing types (functional, regression, integration, performance) to proactively identify defects and ensure software readiness. Define clear testing criteria, metrics, and KPIs to track progress, quality, and readiness, ensuring all QA activities align seamlessly with Agile (Scrum) and DevOps methodologies, effectively utilizing Jira for management.
Collaboration & Cross-Functional Partnership
Serve as the primary liaison between the Quality Assurance, Development, and Product teams. Foster strong communication and alignment on quality expectations, timelines, and deliverables. Work hand-in-hand with developers, product owners, and DevOps to embed testing processes seamlessly into the SDLC.

Champion a culture of continuous improvement in both manual and automated testing processes, tools, and techniques to enhance efficiency, reduce technical debt, and accelerate time-to-market. Promote knowledge sharing and best practices across engineering teams.
Metrics-Driven Reporting
Define, track, and analyze key QA metrics (e.g., defect rates, test coverage, test execution time) to measure performance, identify trends, and drive quality improvements. Provide regular, insightful updates and reports on QA progress, potential quality risks, and test coverage to senior leadership.
