The Mission: Ensuring Excellence as a Senior Quality Assurance Analyst
We’re seeking a skilled and meticulous Senior Quality Assurance Analyst to be a critical guardian of quality for our cutting-edge ServiceNow solutions. In this key role, you’ll own the testing lifecycle, from strategizing and designing Test Plans and Test Scripts to executing them flawlessly. Your mission? What You’ll Be Doing: Driving Quality Outcomes
As a Senior QA Analyst, you’ll play a hands-on role in shaping the quality of our solutions. Your responsibilities will include:
– Developing comprehensive Test Plans and strategies that cover all aspects of our solutions.
– Designing, implementing, and monitoring robust Test Scripts to rigorously assess functionality, reliability, and performance.
– Proactively identifying, documenting, and managing defects throughout the development lifecycle.
– Collaborating closely with development teams to investigate root causes and ensure timely resolution of issues.
– Recommending, implementing, and tracking preventative and corrective actions to continuously enhance our Quality Assurance processes.
– Analyzing testing data and providing clear, comprehensive reports on quality metrics.
– Acting as the user advocate during testing, ensuring solutions meet stated expectations and deliver a great experience.
– Contributing to the development and refinement of Quality Assurance policies and procedures.
– Investigating and resolving customer-reported issues, feeding insights back into the QA process.
– Ensuring strict adherence to quality standards and relevant industry Compliance requirements.
What You Bring Along: Skills & Experience for Success
To excel in this role, you’ll need a blend of technical expertise, analytical skills, and practical experience:
– Deep expertise across various Software Testing types and methodologies, including Functional Testing, Non-functional Testing, Integration Testing, System Testing, Regression Testing, Smoke testing, Stress testing, and Black box testing.
– Proven ability to select and effectively utilize different Testing Techniques (e.g., performance, unit, integration, automated), understanding their strengths and weaknesses, and effectively tracking and resolving discovered issues.
– Extensive hands-on experience with ServiceNow Testing, covering both platform features and custom applications, including robust end-to-end testing.
– Practical experience leveraging existing Test Automation frameworks, with a strong preference for proficiency in ServiceNow ATF.
– Skill in using essential tools to aid testing and troubleshooting, such as IDEs, debuggers, build tools, source control, ServiceNow instances, profilers, and system administration/Unix tools.
– Experience reviewing Test Cases and Test Scenarios, analyzing issues, and driving corrective actions as required.
– Demonstrated ability to act as a technical expert within your domain (ServiceNow / Automation), providing guidance and driving quality outcomes.
Education & Core Experience Requirements
A four-year undergraduate degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, OR equivalent practical experience.
Minimum of 2+ years of dedicated ServiceNow Testing Experience or directly related platform testing experience.
Valued Assets (Preferred)
Relevant certifications are a plus and demonstrate commitment to the field, such as:
– ISTQB (International Software Testing Qualifications Board)
– CSTE (Certified Software Test Engineer)
– CSA (ServiceNow Certified System Administrator – relevant for platform understanding)
