What You’ll Do: Your Key Responsibilities

As a Remote Operations Representative I, you will be instrumental in the smooth functioning of our operations, specifically focusing on:

Financial Management: Overseeing and managing operational expenses, diligently analyzing and explaining budget variances to maintain financial efficiency.

Claims Handling: Taking responsibility for managing injury and collision claims, ensuring processes are followed effectively.

Safety & Compliance: Championing our commitment to safety by ensuring all employees rigorously follow established safety practices and applicable regulations.

Facility & Fleet Standards: Guaranteeing our facilities and transportation fleet (buses) are consistently maintained to First Student’s stringent safety and environmental standards.

Route Optimization: Strategically setting and adjusting route schedules to maximize efficiency, actively working to minimize drive times and mileage while strictly adhering to all contractual and regulatory requirements.

Procurement Adherence: Ensuring all purchasing activities strictly comply with company processes and policies.

What You’ll Bring: Qualifications We’re Seeking

To thrive in this Remote Operations Representative I role, you should possess the following:

Experience: A minimum of 1 year of experience in a management or supervisory capacity.

Communication Skills: Exceptional oral and written communication abilities, capable of conveying information clearly and effectively.

Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal and presentation skills, enabling effective interaction with diverse teams and stakeholders.

Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Office Suite Experience: At least 3 years of experience actively working with Microsoft Office Suite in a professional setting.

Analytical Acumen: A background in financial, strategic, and/or organizational analysis is considered a significant asset (a plus).
