Accounting Specialist Role: Drive Efficiency and Innovation

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounting Specialist to manage the accounting cycle and administrative processes for MediaMarkt stores, ensuring compliance with internal procedures. This role is vital for maintaining financial accuracy and optimizing operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in resolving issues related to Credit Management and income reconciliation across various countries.
  • Help troubleshoot issues linked to Cash Register systems.
  • Prepare and analyze reports for internal and external stakeholders, providing valuable insights.
  • Identify and propose process improvements to enhance productivity and streamline workflows.
  • Ensure team members receive adequate training and support.
  • Serve as a liaison between operational needs and management requirements.
  • Review Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) on a daily and weekly basis to track progress.
  • Ensure proper distribution of tasks within the team.
  • Participate in knowledge transfer initiatives and organizational change plans.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

To excel in this role, you’ll possess:

  • A completed CFGS (Ciclo Formativo de Grado Superior) in finance administration or equivalent training.
  • At least one year of experience in a similar accounting role.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and valuable knowledge of SAP FI.
  • Excellent written and spoken English skills.
  • The ability to adapt to varying work rhythms, demonstrate proactivity, and possess strong communication skills.
