Your Mission

As an AI Software Engineer, you’ll be at the forefront of innovation, leveraging the latest cloud and AI technologies to solve complex problems. You’ll not only be building cutting-edge solutions, but also guiding best practices, mentoring peers, and shaping the technical strategy of our AI initiatives.

Key Accountabilities

• API Development: Design and develop scalable RESTful APIs using Python (FastAPI) to power AI models and integrations.
• Azure AI Integration: Build intelligent features with Azure AI services, including Azure Machine Learning, Cognitive Services, and Azure OpenAI.
• Cloud Deployment: Deploy and manage scalable applications on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) or Azure App Service.
• Collaboration: Partner closely with product owners, designers, and engineers to deliver complete, end-to-end solutions.
• Best Practices: Implement secure, maintainable, and testable cloud-based applications, emphasizing observability and reliability.
• CI/CD: Establish and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps for seamless deployments.
• Technical Leadership: Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, providing technical leadership and strategic guidance on AI initiatives.
• Mentorship: Mentor and upskill peers and client teams, promoting Agile, DevOps, TDD, and CI/CD methodologies.
• Technology Exploration: Continuously explore and evaluate emerging technologies across AI, ML, Cloud, and IoT landscapes.
• Communication: Clearly communicate complex technical concepts through both written and verbal channels.

What You’ll Bring

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Deep expertise in Python, with production-level API development experience (FastAPI preferred).
• Hands-on experience with Azure AI services (Machine Learning, Cognitive Services, OpenAI).
• Proven ability to deploy applications in Azure cloud environments.
• Solid understanding of Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code (Terraform or ARM templates a plus).
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas effectively.

Bonus Points

• Experience with MLOps or data engineering, integrating ML workflows into production environments.
• Familiarity with modern frontend frameworks (React) for full-stack contributions.
