As an AI Solutions Consultant at Neo4j, you won’t just witness the future of AI – you’ll build it. You will be a key player in helping our strategic customers leverage the unparalleled power of Graph Databases combined with cutting-edge AI and Generative AI techniques.

This is a dynamic role where you will act as both a technical architect and a hands-on engineer. You’ll partner directly with customer executives and technical teams, translating complex data challenges into innovative, production-ready AI applications built upon Neo4j Knowledge Graphs. Your expertise will guide them from concept to deployment, ensuring tangible business value and driving transformative change.

You will provide deep technical consulting and expertise on projects that redefine how organizations use data and AI. You’ll also collaborate closely with our cloud partners, sharing best practices and delivering joint solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Architecting & Strategy

You will be the trusted technical partner for our most strategic customers and partners, guiding them through the design and implementation of powerful Graph+GenAI solutions.

• Partner with customer and partner technical leads and executives to define and manage project scope, priorities, risks, and timelines for successful outcomes.
• Design robust solution architectures that leverage graph databases, LLMs, and the broader GenAI ecosystem, aligning deployments with customer requirements and best practices.
• Translate complex business objectives into actionable technical requirements, identifying opportunities to apply graph-based AI to solve pressing data challenges.
• Provide expert consulting and technical leadership throughout the customer engagement lifecycle.

Solution Engineering & Development

You will get hands-on, building and refining the innovative AI applications you architect for our customers.

• Develop, test, and deploy production-grade AI applications integrating graph databases with LLMs and orchestration frameworks. This includes writing high-quality code, optimizing for performance, and ensuring seamless system integration.
• Continuously evaluate and enhance the performance, scalability, and efficiency of deployed solutions, incorporating emerging techniques and technologies.

Education, Enablement & Thought Leadership

You will be a vital link between customer needs and internal teams, sharing knowledge and shaping future directions.

• Influence Neo4j’s product roadmap and strategy by providing valuable field insights to Product and Marketing teams.
• Package methodologies, best practices, and lessons learned into thought leadership content, assets, and training materials.
• Share your expertise internally and externally through workshops, training, and documentation, empowering others to leverage and maintain the solutions you deliver.
• Commit to continuous learning, staying at the forefront of the rapidly evolving GenAI and AI landscapes.

What You Bring (Required Qualifications)

We are looking for a seasoned professional with a strong blend of enterprise software development, AI expertise, and customer-facing consulting skills.

• Enterprise Application Development: 5+ years designing and building enterprise-grade applications, with solid understanding of the full software development lifecycle.
• LLM Proficiency: 2+ years experience working hands-on with Large Language Models (LLMs), including prompt engineering, fine-tuning, and integration. You stay current on leading models (GPT, Claude, Gemini, Llama, etc.).
• Programming Expertise: Strong command of at least one of the following: Java, JavaScript, Python, or C#, with a focus on writing clean, scalable code.
• Deployment & Version Control: Experience deploying applications on platforms like Linux, Docker, and Kubernetes, and proficiency with Git.
• Cloud Computing: Practical experience deploying and managing applications on major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Generative AI Ecosystem: Deep understanding of the GenAI landscape, including orchestration frameworks like LangChain, Llama Index, and Haystack, and cloud AI services (e.g., AWS Bedrock, Vertex AI).
• Data Expertise: Solid background in data engineering, analytics, or science, comfortable working with diverse data sources and technologies like Hadoop, Spark, SQL, and NoSQL.
• Graph Database Experience: In-depth understanding of graph database concepts, modeling, and query languages (like Cypher). Hands-on experience with Neo4j or other graph/triple stores.
• Consulting & Communication: Excellent skills in communicating complex technical concepts, collaborating with stakeholders at all levels, and building trusted relationships.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical abilities to diagnose challenges and architect effective technical solutions.
• Travel: Ability to travel up to 50% for customer engagements.
