Brand Marketing Manager: Tell Our Story and Lead the Way

We are searching for a dynamic Brand Marketing Manager to champion Forwood’s brand and solidify our position as the leading authority in fatality prevention. In this influential role, you’ll craft and share our unique story, ensuring our ideal customers not only know about Forwood but deeply understand the value we bring to their organizations. You’ll be the driving force behind how Forwood is perceived in the market, ensuring our message resonates and drives tangible results.

Your Mission: Making Forwood Synonymous with Safety

As the Brand Marketing Manager, you’ll spearhead our growing brand marketing team and manage the brand budget. Your primary objective is to ensure that every target customer recognizes Forwood as the premier provider of fatality prevention solutions. You will work closely with our Demand Generation and Product Marketing teams to seamlessly integrate brand narratives into our pipeline growth and demand creation strategies.

You’ll bring our brand strategy to life by defining our unique perspective and manifesto. This will involve creating and executing high-impact, regionally relevant campaigns across diverse channels, including video, podcasts, industry events, webinars, and public relations initiatives. Additionally, you’ll play a vital role in amplifying the thought leadership of our CEO, Steve Wood, transforming his passion and our customer success stories into content that captivates and engages our target audience.

Key Responsibilities: Bring the Brand to Life

  • Develop and execute Forwood’s comprehensive brand strategy, manifesto, and point of view to articulate our unique value proposition in fatality prevention.
  • Orchestrate impactful brand awareness campaigns across various channels: video, podcasts, PR initiatives, community engagement, industry events, webinars, roundtables, and social media platforms.
  • Identify and secure high-profile speaking engagements, media opportunities, PR placements, and strategic partnerships, with a strong focus on managing Forwood’s presence at the annual industry conference.
  • Craft compelling narratives that showcase Forwood’s vision, the transformative success of our customers, and our position as a market leader in safety software.
  • Amplify the voice and thought leadership of our founder and executive team, particularly Steve Wood, through strategic content creation and engagement opportunities.
  • Collaborate closely with Product, Sales, and Customer Success teams to identify and share impactful customer stories and compelling proof points.
  • Maintain a consistent brand identity across all communication channels, marketing assets, and messaging to ensure brand integrity.
  • Track and analyze key brand metrics, including brand awareness, market perception, and share of voice within our target industries.
  • Partner seamlessly with the Demand Generation team to align brand storytelling initiatives with pipeline growth and revenue objectives.

What You’ll Bring: Your Experience and Passion

  • 8+ years of B2B marketing experience, with at least 3 years specializing in brand strategy, compelling storytelling, and thought leadership development.
  • A proven track record of building and scaling successful brand programs that elevate brand awareness and establish market credibility in complex B2B industries.
  • Exceptional writing and storytelling abilities, with a keen understanding of narrative structure, tone, and voice to convey the brand’s message effectively.
  • Comfort transforming abstract ideas and founder’s vision into high-impact campaigns and content that resonates with the target audience.
  • Familiarity with various brand-building tactics, including podcasts, video series, public relations, and executive visibility initiatives.
  • Experience working in or with complex industries, such as mining, construction, utilities, or the broader safety technology landscape.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, and cross-functional environment.
  • A background in brand management, public relations, journalism, editorial content creation, or creative content strategy.
  • Experience supporting global brand initiatives across multiple geographic regions.
  • Familiarity with key brand health metrics, sentiment tracking methodologies, and brand perception surveys.
  • A genuine passion for amplifying the voices of founders and working closely with executive leadership teams.
  • A solid understanding of industrial buyers, challenging field environments, and safety-critical contexts within the fatality prevention space.
