In this role, you’ll play a crucial part in helping Americans achieve their retirement goals by analyzing data, identifying key insights, and contributing to impactful recommendations.

As a key member of our team, you’ll collaborate with government clients and internal stakeholders to understand business needs, define research objectives, and develop insightful analytical plans. You’ll contribute to the development of reports to Congress, helping to shape the future of retirement savings initiatives. Responsibilities

• Collaborate with government clients to understand their business needs and translate them into actionable research objectives.
• Analyze quantitative and qualitative data to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights related to the IRS Saver’s Match program.
• Provide meeting support to various stakeholders, including IRS IT, Chief Counsel, and Taxpayer Experience Office.
• Contribute to internal and external communication activities to ensure program success.
• Develop recommendations based on your research and analysis and present them to government clients.
• Proactively identify and propose new analytical approaches to improve program effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field. Equivalent experience will also be considered.
• Proven experience with at least one object-oriented programming language (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript).
• Hands-on experience with structured databases and query languages (e.g., PL/SQL, Postgres, MySQL).
• Familiarity with statistical programming languages (SAS, R, or Stata) is a plus.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience using data mining methods in an academic or professional setting.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience designing and building mathematical models (e.g., logistic regression, decision trees, random forests) in an academic or professional setting.
• Must be able to obtain a Public Trust Clearance and pass a background check.

Pay Range: USD $53.00 – USD $58.00 /Hr.
