Your Mission as a Call Center Relationship Specialist

As a Remote Call Center Relationship Specialist, you will be the voice of The WAPCo Company, providing exceptional support to claimants, providers, and clients. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Providing top-notch customer service via phone and email, addressing questions and resolving issues related to claims and policies.
  • Maintaining accurate and concise customer service logs.
  • Processing incoming client correspondence efficiently.
  • Meeting or exceeding daily performance goals for calls and correspondence (target of 80 combined interactions, with a minimum of 60 calls).
  • Upholding our high standards of customer service quality.
  • Participating in special projects as needed.

What We’re Looking For in a Candidate

We are seeking a highly motivated individual who is passionate about helping customers and eager to learn and grow. While experience is preferred, we are willing to train the right candidate! We’re also looking for:

  • Proven ability to communicate effectively and courteously in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Exceptional people skills and active listening abilities.
  • Demonstrated reliability, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient typing skills with a focus on accuracy.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to interpret and apply provisions of manuals, SPDs, medical terminology, and insurance claims (a plus!).

Location and Schedule

This is primarily a remote position, offering flexibility and work-life balance! You will need a secure, quiet workspace with a high-speed, reliable internet connection. Local employees will report to the office approximately once a month.

The current shift available is Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM (U.S. Based).

Desired Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are a plus:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Two years of customer service experience, preferably in a call center environment.
  • Familiarity with medical codes and terminology.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus!

This position may require access to private health information (PHI) and/or electronic private health information (EPHI). Access will be granted based on your job responsibilities.

The physical demands of this role include keyboard work, verbal communication, and close vision computer use. The ability to lift up to 15 pounds may be required.
