Expert SAP FICO, FICA & Funds Management Consultant (S/4HANA Private Cloud Focus)

Your Opportunity

Are you an accomplished SAP Consultant with deep, hands-on expertise across SAP Financial Accounting (FI), Controlling (CO), Contract Accounts Receivable and Payable (FICA), and Public Sector Funds Management (FM)? Do you thrive in complex, cutting-edge environments, particularly within SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud and integrating with modern platforms like SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP)? We are seeking a highly experienced professional to join our dynamic team and lead critical finance transformation projects. This is an exciting opportunity to leverage your 8-10 years of hands-on SAP experience, working across both SAP ECC and the latest SAP S/4HANA landscapes, to drive successful implementations and provide expert-level support.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

Lead and execute full lifecycle SAP implementation projects and ongoing support engagements specifically within the SAP FICO, FICA, and Funds Management modules.

Translate complex business requirements into robust system designs, covering blueprinting, hands-on configuration, comprehensive testing strategies, meticulous cutover planning, and dedicated post-go-live support.

Implement and expertly configure Funds Management processes, with a strong focus on budget control, commitment management, and seamless integration points, potentially including Grants and Project Systems.

Provide expert functional support for end-to-end SAP FICA processes, mastering areas such as complex invoicing scenarios, efficient dunning cycles, diverse payment handling, and meticulous contract account management.

Collaborate effectively with technical development teams to guide custom solutions and integrations, leveraging key SAP BTP services like CAP, UI5, Workflow, and APIs.

Spearhead critical activities related to data migration and system conversion efforts, particularly within complex S/4HANA Private Cloud environments.

Act as a primary point of contact for troubleshooting and resolving incidents, proactively managing change requests, and optimizing system performance in partnership with business users and AMS teams.

Ensure rigorous adherence to internal control standards and maintain high-quality, comprehensive documentation throughout all project phases.

What We’re Looking For

A minimum of 8–10 years of progressive hands-on SAP consulting experience, specifically covering SAP FICO, SAP FICA, and SAP Funds Management across both SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA environments.

Proven successful experience with at least 1 full lifecycle implementation of SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud.

Deep functional mastery in SAP Funds Management (FM), including strong expertise in budgeting methodologies, availability control, fund centers, and funded programs.

Extensive knowledge and practical experience with core SAP FICA functionalities, including contract accounts setup, dunning processes, collections strategies, interest calculation, and versatile payment processing.

Familiarity with the capabilities of the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), understanding its role in integration (e.g., CPI), extension development, and Fiori application deployment.

Direct experience or a strong understanding of processes within the Public Sector or Utilities industries is considered a significant advantage.

Exceptional analytical capabilities, strong communication skills, and a proven track record of effective stakeholder management across various levels.

Impress Us With (Preferred Skills)

Relevant SAP Certifications in areas such as FICO, Funds Management, or S/4HANA Financials.

Exposure to specific SAP BTP Services such as Workflow Management, Integration Suite, or SAP Analytics Cloud.

Experience working with Agile and SAP Activate project methodologies and proficiency with related project management tools (e.g., Jira, SAP Solution Manager).
